[When the video turns on, the figure is clearly frustrated and distrustful, if not looking very exhausted. Honey-colored eyes are dulled and strained, her skin a ghostly shade of pale, a single bandage pressing against the right side of her cheek. Fingers grasp at the top of the note she had been reading, lips pulling in a frown.]

This.

This can’t be right and it isn’t funny. I’m in no mood for jokes right now, so I demand an explanation for this.

[Lowering the note beside her on the bed, Elena gently rubbed at the side of her head, giving a slight wince. She had been under constant watch for the last 48 hours, being pumped full of Cure and Restore to mend internal and external injuries. But clearly she wasn’t entirely healed, which earned a frown.]

Also, what was with the paralysis? Did somebody drug me while I was sleeping to perform a relocation? This isn’t the room I was in last…

[Oh, right. The collars. Fingers lightly touch at the metallic thing around her neck, earning a slight frown. Dogs of Shinra - that's what the Turks were called. Funny how the invisible collar finally manifested, even though Rufus was nowhere to be found.]

That's hardly comforting. It makes a person wonder just what ulterior motives our 'rescuers' have if they feel they have to put a collar on us all.

[That was quite the odd thing to ask, but after talking to Reno it was appropriate. But that didn't stop the heavy stones from settling in the pit of her stomach. She would like to not remember much from the last few days, if she could help it.]

A good number of the population of Gaia was come down with some unknown sickness known as the Geostigma, but the cause and any potential cure has yet to be identified. There has been an appearance of three...[Her throat constricts, tightening involuntarily]...three individuals, each with silver hair and green eyes, seeking out the head of Jenova.

When I arrived, they were pulling people with various collars to put them into a maze and have them fight. To the death.

[ Not at all happy with seeing people getting killed every time he looked at a terminal.

He almost smiles at what she says; at least some of his memories lined up now. ]

I remember. Don't worry; we found a cure and ended it.

[Eyes widen fractionally, almost disbelieving. But, then again, what reason did he have to lie about that sort of thing?]

That's....gristly. And cruel.

[She's with you in displeasure, Cloud. While violence isn't outside of Elena's comfort zone, violence for sheer amusement was sickening.

Ah, but that news was not expected. She leans forward to the communicator, hopeful.]

Good! That's great news. But...what about the Remnants? Please tell me that they were killed.

They died. [ Cloud rubbed the back of his neck. They were dead but he had encountered Loz here. ]

But Elena... I have seen Loz here.

Were you the one to kill them?

[Oh, the relief was immense, hearing that the terrible trio had gotten just what they deserved. Her shoulders lowered, as if some immense weight had been lifted.

And then her entire body froze.]

......Loz......

[If her face could have paled more, it would have. Stomach sinking, Elena was sure for a moment she was going to be sick. But after a few moments of nothing, she responded with a little nod.]

I see.... I appreciate you telling me. Has anything been done to take care of him?

Kadaj couldn't handle Sephiroth's spirit. Loz and Yazoo were heavily injured by Reno and Rude and then over-powered some materia to the exploding point.

[ He knew the bare bones of the story - Vincent told him that they had caught and tortured her and Tseng. He wished he had better news but... ]

I lost track of him. I also think that Hojo might know about them.
