Well now, it seems people have flooded back into this place. It seems there was a large percentage of people taken.

In any case, a discussion I had a while ago brought up a question I wanted to ask.

[Even if it was less of a discussion and more bristling at each other. Whatever.]

It's obvious enough that something translates for us - for example I'm typing this in Japanese but someone else might see it in German or English or... I don't know, something like Aramaic.

I'm curious what language everyone is speaking in, and if you speak more than one language. Call it a professional curiosity.

Yeah -- that's the official language used in communicating between the Bomber Nebula, Calerodinia, and the Thalian Empire. There's a different universal language in use between my world and a neighboring planet as well.

I see. Humans from my world have yet to make contact with other worlds.

Really? We've had interstellar contact for a while in my universe, so it's always been around in my life. Though I didn't get to visit Calerodinia until recently, and I've never been to the Thalian Empire. Not properly, anyway.

I suppose I should amend that - there is another world, but it's not through space. It's... I suppose you could think of it as in a dimension parallel to ours.

The demon world is parallel to the human world. Demons can be called across, with effort and the right rituals. There are certain entities that keep the worlds separate. Recently, they were removed, and so the demon world grew even closer to the human world.
