Yesterday, I was accosted by three people in red collars and brought to a laboratory. I think they said something about collars and routine procedures, but I can't be sure. I think they must have sedated me.
I don't know what they did while I was unconscious or if any of this is related to the apocalypse, but if they haven't found you yet, I urge you to go into hiding before it's too late!

[He does browse the network on occasion, as it's a handy source of information at times that will never go away. However, this time the newest update is... curious.

In that the person on the terminal next to him is the one making it. He turns to address them directly.]

It's a standard procedure. Something of a necessity, if you wish to retain some semblance of normalcy in your abilities.

[He starts slightly, turning to face the man at the next terminal.]

It is?
But if it was just a standard procedure, why would they need to sedate you? They must be hiding something!

[He then pauses, composing himself as well as he can before holding his hand out to the other man.]

I'm Spirit Albarn.

They only respond with force if one resists. If it was your first time, such a thing is of course to be expected.

[The offered hand is taken in a firm grip.]

Xehanort.

[Spirit mirrors Xehanort's grip and engages him in an appropriately confident and assertive handshake.]

It's good to meet you.

[He then releases Xehanort's hand and looks down for a moment before he speaks again. ]

Something doesn't add up. Nobody ever experiments on you for the sake of normalcy.
How long have you been here?

Ah, I have been here for about four months, by the local reckoning. I'm still relatively new myself, one could say.

[Well, if he wasn't suspicious before he certainly is now. His eyes dart around the room for a moment before he takes a step towards the other man. He looks up, meeting Xehanort's gaze and speaking in a low voice.]

I'm guessing you were relocated too. Where are you from?

Associates? Acquaintances? Whatever word you would prefer to call it. People whom one knows. There are times of suffering for many. You'll come to understand soon enough, I'm sure.

[He lowers his voice to match the other's, although he hardly sees a reason for it.]

One world out of an infinite sea. The name is meaningless. If one believes what they say, it no longer exists.

[He offers Xehanort an understanding nod as he listens. ]

An infinite sea of... Are you talking about multiverse theory? I wasn't sure if I believed in any of that. [He shrugs, sighing dejectedly. ] It's hard not to right now.

I'm sorry your world was... [He trails off, choking off a sob. ] Mine's gone too.

As one who has travelled to countless worlds, I know it is more than a theory. However, each world comes to that knowledge in its own time. Yours may well have been on the cusp, if such theories existed.

[He avoids the subject of his world's apparent end, as it doesn't particularly bother him at all.]
