After awaking in room 03-04, I found the letter stating that Gaia had been destroyed. Unbelievable, of course, and whoever has decided to play this kind of prank can be assured that their pay will be docked.

[The collar, too, is a nice touch; just enough that it's annoying, and such a garish color.] I'm more concerned with someone touching my things, and somehow knowing what to pack in that trunk. They also left me without a lighter, if there is anyone willing to lend me one for a moment.

I can only offer you the FAQ I helped co-author. It's about as informative as you're going to get in this place.

I don't feel like going into the newbie spiel.

How many new people does this place seem to get, on average?

It varies, but they usually pop in during the weekend or beginning of the week. Anywhere from five to ten average, though I'm seeing more lately.

Has there been a count of how many people are here, now? Is it just new people, or are there people from this world, here?

... It'd be insane for me to try and keep track of each individual person and their potential doubles from other worlds, so I don't have anything more than an estimate. If I had to guess, maybe... ninety or more people? Somewhere around there. No less than fifty.

There are four administrators who claim to come from this world; Jason, Riki, Dax (the only decent one, trust me), and Ruana, as well as a boy who seems to be in charge of 'rescuing' us and the Tower's functions named Zo.

How many doubles can there be of one person? Do they appear regularly?

I've usually only seen one duplicate, but more can appear just as others seem to leave this place. We don't really know where those who've disappeared actually end up; some people claim to have been left at the wasteland that was once their world.

I thought the worlds were destroyed?

From what I've heard they're barren wastelands devoid of life.

No one said the planet itself had been destroyed.

If the planet still remains, then what happened to all the people? You seem to be in the majority who don't believe it, though. How do we know if we haven't actually seen?

Dead, down to the last living cells, I would think. I can't test that myself, but it's what I've heard.

... Honestly, I'd be more inclined to buy this story if we had more of an explanation than a video of a big bright light and our captors weren't constantly experimenting on us and lying to us. If they were just upfront and said, "look, we don't know why, we're doing all we can" we'd even be more inclined to cooperate with them.

I've HEARD they're working on restoring things, but frankly, none of us have anymore information than what we've been told. It's all hearsay.

Someone must be able to test that. Though I hesitate to think of who. Why has no one left the tower, yet? If all of this is happening, then why is everyone simply staying put?
