[ It is a perfectly good and responsible looking young man that appears on the network's screen. Don't go say the contrary. His voice is collected and calm as he talks, with perfect manners. ]
Very interesting machine... Allowing anyone to speak from a distance. If only it could be reduced and made portable...
[ He looks up at the camera afterward and nods. ]
Forgive my manners. Like you may have guessed, I am new to this tower. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Lezard, Lezard Valeth.
Speaking of which, this tower is certainly an interesting place… So many possibilities, so much to discover. It's a shame that for us to be here our homeworlds had to die. Such a high price to pay for such little reward….
[ He readjusts his glasses. ]
Does anyone here have concrete proof one way or another as far as the fate of our worlds are concerned? The letter and projection are not proof enough to me I'm afraid, no matter how likely to be the truth it is.
Any group of research that may confirmed the veracity of the letters maybe?
Oh, and I have heard a lot of talks about people sleeping for abnormally long time period. Do such occurrence happen often in the tower?

[ He smirks. ]
In this tower you will find the Mother of Creation, the beautiful Lenneth Valkyrie. If you find her, she will give you the proof you ask for.

Hm, you would name someone who could cause such devestation who happens to abide here? If she is indeed the "mother of creation" then why would she destroy worlds?

[ Be suspicious all you like, meanwhile Lezard readjusts his glasses. ]
He who seeks for ruins can only bring about rebirth once his endeavors are accomplished. After all, destruction is followed by creation, this is unavoidable.

[ His eyes narrow slightly before his expression returns to its normal, stoic state ]
I do not believe that creation always follows destruction, although it can happen, yes, there are cases where destruction, or death, are final.

It is a never ending cycle of reincarnation, and none can escape it.

When one dies they go to the "appropriate" afterlife, depending on their actions. Lives are not recycled, they are individual and unique.
Or that is what I believe.

And yet did you believe somewhere existed a tower that could welcome people from countless universes? Did you believe you would see half of what you have seen today?
What a fragile thing beliefs are. Ever moving, ever changing. Lives may be unique, yet this place revealed to us that somewhere other us may exist. Maybe hundreds alter-ego await beyond the dimensions? I ask, are we still unique when our sense of individuality is shared by countless?
And then you have to wonder, is your afterlife an end in itself, or merely another road in a cycle beyond our comprehension?

There are many possibilities that I am probably unable to comprehend, being the way I am. I would hope that there are not many versions of myself, the concept alone scares me.
[ But not for the reasons that Lezard may think; with Alucard's strong sense of self-loathing and hate he could not abide another mixed blood abomination like himself ]
But without my beliefs I amount of very little, and beliefs can be shaken but must never be broken. Without faith I would be more of a shell of a man than I already am.

Without faith, you would be very little? Allow me to doubt that. What is faith after all? It is only set of belief bound to one or more divinities. But doesn't the scientists follows his own set of belief? Doesn't the wizards follow their own set of belief as well?
This, in the end, is what faith is. A set of belief you follow, but you bind yourself to divinities and limit yourself. Without faith, you would be free to forge your own beliefs, to study and improve them. You wouldn't be less, you would be more.
