We have taken the liberty of doing some research into the Tower's history and past trends, in hopes of uncovering something about the way this place operates, or solving one of the many mysteries that surrounds it. It would greatly benefit us if you could lend your assistance and help us with our research; the more people that answer the better, as it gives us more data to work with.

We understand that someone's probably sick of these kind of forms, questions and questionnaires, but we've done our best to compile the data from the past ones and hopefully not make it too repetitive, and get to the heart of the matter:

Experiments/Special Events Experienced:(We're trying to put together a timeline of events that have occurred since the Tower was created, but we have not been present long enough to know all of them, and information on the earlier days seems to be scant. Putting them in chronological order would be extremely helpful if you remember about when each took place.)

In addition, we have a few more gaps we'd like to fill about the earlier days of the Tower, but it seems that many of the people that were here at the beginning have disappeared. For those that were here in the very early days, we have a few questions about the environment-- nothing too invasive. Your cooperation would be invaluable.

Lastly, we have one more question to posit, both for discussion and for the sake of our curiosity and research; how do souls work in your world? If you have information on how your own soul specifically works and are willing to share it, this would help us a lot.

What was the survey about? There was something like that before the labyrinth, where everyone who saw it had to answer what they were afraid of.

I'll answer both here - I suppose behavior modification would fit the bill. I admittedly didn't think too much of it at the time. The survey had a list of things on it, and we were to answer how we felt of them on a scale of love to hate. I wish I could recall more about it, but it's been a long time - and I never expected to come back here.

Just answer as much as you can and we'll work with it. As for that question and answer session - are we right to think they only discussed things that are common knowledge now? How did the admins appear, like.. where from, did they take the elevator and then just take it back to where they usually stay, or did they pull something weird and suddenly pop up?

Discussion involved things that are commonly known now, yes. Far as I recall, they came from the elevator - the Q&A was held in the cafeteria.

and nobody knew how dangerous the admins were back then, huh? Did everyone keep in line when they showed up?

What colors were the collars of the people you were tethered to, when they got connected? _{[It's probably a thought in vain, but if there's some kind of pattern in the people tied together...]}

At the Q&A, no - it was shortly after we'd woken up here. There weren't any monsters here at that point in time, and there was compartively little in the way of danger until the first set of new floors opened up. There was the initial jobset - wish I'd taken more notes about what was available then to compare to now.

I was only tethered to one person, who seemed to disappear before I actually found them to see what the color was.

I'd be curious in looking over this information once it's compiled - and whatever other things you've gleaned, if you've been looking into other things. At home, I was a detective, so I've got some experience in investigating strange things - it would be beneficial to everyone as a whole, I feel.

--hey, late follow up question. You said you never found the person you were tethered to, and never found out their color because of that... but the tethers reportedly had colors visible before even seeing your connected person, and there may be a pattern.

Was the tether purple and orange?

Mmm... I'm reasonably certain that it was purely orange, but it has been a long time since that incident.
