It depends on the human. Some people don't break at all. Some people break into complete messes, unable to do anything but scream or cry. Some people go completely numb. Some people lash out in anger without knowing how or why. Some people break hard enough that they seem all right sometimes, but sometimes become an entirely different person.

It really depends. I've seen all kinds of breakdowns.

[Thanks to the bodyswap event... Hakuno knows exactly what Labrys is talking about - being an experiment - even without having been told before. She saw it herself, thanks to the memory bleed-through... It was horrible. So in some weird way, she too can understand how Ruana must have been feeling.

Of course, she's not going to be dwelling on her own feelings. Not with Labrys so obviously distressed.]

All this sympathy for her is disgusting.

What happened to her in the past is irrelevant. What she is involved in now is what we should be focusing on- but people would rather seek understanding for someone who is clearly already lost. Or, even worse, she could be faking these things to garner pity and pacify us.
