I trust everyone has recovered from their illness. In any event, I wanted to propose an idea I I share, one that originated back in the facility:

An educational system, or a school if you will. While there are lessons on fighting by others and training your body, I believe there needs to be a system to help balance the mind, and hopefully, make those not comfortable with each other slowly ease into that state. It is a flawed idea to be sure, but nothing in any world is perfect. Not even the tower moderators.

For those that wish to join, you can find me in the library or the kitchen most often, or simply reply here. Classes aren't mandatory, but are recommended. After all, there are many children here being deprived of some education.

Anything that can be useful. Music, magic, cooking, etc. It really depends on who is teaching and their expertise.

I would be more than happy to become a student and learn more..and I would also like to offer myself up as a literature teacher. I have been helping Romeo with his reading, writing, and knowledge of books, and would be more than happy to do so for anyone else who wanted to learn!

You know Romeo then? How broad is your knowledge of literature? How much experience do you have with it?

I would be interested in helping out at this school. I can handle almost every subject.

Do you have any particular subjects you specialize? We would need to balance classes, and taking on too many might be a problem.

[Oh man, a chance to be a real student again! Not that he ever stopped - the fact that he's continued to stubbornly wear his uniform every day reflects his beliefs on the matter - but he's still pretty delighted to hear this.]

An education system is an excellent idea! I had been studying already, but it would truly be a wonderful idea to have others to discuss the material with! We could even learn from one another! Ha ha ha!

Heh. I suppose I could help. I'm quite knowledgeable on nearly every subject native to my world, though languages are a specialty of mine. I'm also quite skilled with computers, though the lack of an active computer lab would be a problem. I suppose I could teach the basics of the technologies to those who aren't familiar with them.

History is also a specialty of mine, though given that it's from my own world it may not be helpful. Mythology is also something I'm quite skilled with teaching. I suppose I could teach literature or mathematics, or maybe science, though the lack of a lab would be a problem there as well for many types of science.

Languages would be critical here, given that the mods have shown that they can bring a barrier to us all. Knowing as many as possible could give us an advantage, even if learning them can take time.

Mythology and history might be more helpful than you think. Some beings here seem to be taken straight from mythical tales, while history might help understand every world each person comes from, as well as deal with a situation that might be repeated within the tower.

If they are unwilling to be taught in the first place, the lesson would be a waste of time.

An educational system is a great idea. I was actually thinking about this earlier... it's been a long time since I was in school, and frankly, I'm really behind in my studies.

There are a lot of people here who could use classes again, as well. [cough cough his dumb friend who fails every class but electives cough cough]

I had a feeling, though did not expect some to agree. Good to see nonetheless.

I've never been to school before. It sounds like fun! I really want to see what it's like, so please let me know if you gather enough people to organize it!

...Um, I don't suppose you can be a teacher and a student at the same time, can you? [Hey, can't hurt to ask. Helping is helping.]

Thus far, we have a decent number of teachers available.

And yes, there are those that can teach and be taught, provided they have enough credit to teach the subject they wish to teach.

Well, I'm getting too old for this school thing, so if you want, I can offer some help regarding teaching classes, I guess? I'm probably more suited for silly first aid classes. I'm not much of a magic teacher. Kind of wish we had one here.

But the idea sounds nice.
