It's a recording on a terminal. [Does she really not know how to operate these things?]

[She cocks her head to the side a little, looking a lot less uneasy than before]

What's a recording terminal?

The terminal is the black lumpy thing you're sitting in front of. It consists of the monitor, which is the box attached to the bit where you're seeing me right now, and the keyboard, which is the thing in front of you with letters and symbols on it. A recording is a way to capture what the terminal sees and send it to others. My terminal is looking at me right now. Because I've set it to record, it's sending what it sees to your terminal.
