I know you were responding to KOS-MOS, but my name is Shion Uzuki, and it's actually my fault that this happened. Please don't blame KOS-MOS. I know there probably isn't, but if there's anything I can do to try to make it up to you, please let me know. I really am very sorry about this.
KOS-MOS needs a lot of sensitive equipment for maintenance and recharging, which was not brought to the tower with her. I attempted to rebuild some of those things with parts I gathered from the tower, but it gave her a virus that caused her to systems to perceive every life form as a threat. That is why she attacked.
[She was hoping to avoid a situation like this. Especially after having to fix the damage Allen did to KOS-MOS...]
I'm afraid it wasn't KOS-MOS's fault, it was mine. So please don't take it out on her. I will do whatever I can to try to make it up to anyone she hurt.
[More like destroyed not only him, but the one place of sanctuary he's managed to glean from this hell. There is no way he's going to be able to hit the gym until he can block out the ghost-smell of his own death from that floor.
...he hates failure.]
I'll take it out on whatever I need to. I promise.
Might have killed my friends, pardner. But we're all still here in the end. Reckon something wasn't right. With this place screwing with us on a daily basis willing to bet it was out of your control. Not gonna get mad about something out of our control. Water under the bridge.
Not saying what happened was right, but you're still okay in my book.
[In a quiet voice, but very sincerely nonetheless. Actually, she's surprised this happened at all, because as much as she believes even V1 was capable of sympathy (that incident in the park helped), it was sometimes hard to tell.]

not here
Spoiler: it's guilt.]

... I'm not even that angry. Just confused.
Maybe a little angry but not that much.

Apologizing like this is actually a little unlike her, but you're right. It isn't KOS-MOS's fault.

It is alright. However, in the future, please be a little more careful.

[Well, that might not be true... But Shion really hopes she might.]
