That isn't entirely true. KOS-MOS does have the capacity to feel.
But, I'm really not sure. I'm only a scientist. I could offer my knowledge and skills, but I'm not sure what use those would be. If it comes down to it, you can take your aggression out on me, since it was my mistake that caused KOS-MOS's actions.
No more so an illusion than all of our current circumstances.
As for revenge, that would be too easy and fairly pointless as I'm sure you'd agree. Death bears no weight in a place where there is no finality, however painful I'd be obligated to make it.
[Scientists. Off screen Sephiroth would scowl at the screen. Always the scientists. Though maybe he could get something worthwhile out of this...]
[If that's the case, why bother hurting KOS-MOS either? Luckily it's only text, so he can't see her sighing in aggravation.]
Well, my specialties are electrical and software engineering and programming. I helped create KOS-MOS's original OS and eventually oversaw her development and subsequent upgrades. But, I suppose I'm fairly flexible with most technologies.
[Because he's not about to go walking into his next death pursuing KOS-MOS or earning another's vengeance. But his pride needs him to do something about this slight.
Though Sephiroth doesn't have much use for technology - ]
There isn't really a way to stop her, outside of preventing her programming from destabilizing in the first place. Or being strong enough to damage her frame.
I tried to replicate KOS-MOS's maintenance equipment, using terminal parts from the tower. It seems that she somehow downloaded a virus from the terminals. Even though that shouldn't be possible.
[Well, what did they expect using parts from the Tower? He's not about to type anything about that though; how not to trust anything the Tower provides because it should be obvious. He doesn't trust who or what else stalks the network.
If nothing else, he can add to the simmering pot of things that he needs eventually to take out on the administration.]

Though I'm not merciless. What can you do to convince me?

Tell me about your field of science.

How do you stop her?

Well, thank you for cooperating.
