[Well, Rose, there's a reason for that! See, remember how he said he was on his way downstairs to get you? Well he can't exactly take the terminal with him. It's kind of bolted into the wall.]

[As his luck would have it, he missed the elevator. And he wasn't about to wait around for the damn thing to come back up so Plan A it is. Not Plan Z because mun had a massive brainfart and forgot that Zoroarks don't actually shapeshift, they just cast illusions. What a dumb. Anyway, it's time to ride the bird-dragon.]

[He probably knocked a few people over on his mad dragon-back flight down the stairs but hopefully the hasty apologies shouted over his shoulder would be enough to placate whoever he hit. He definitely lost the retrieval unit tailing him on the way down, not that he's complaining. There was no way the thing would be able to keep up with Liv.]

[Even so, it takes him about 20 minutes to fly down the stairwell and arrive on the 19th floor. He's still on Liv's back as he glances around the library, trying to catch sight of Rose. He's not sure if this is the library she's in or not, but it's the first one he came to so he may as well check it first.]

[[It's probably not difficult to find her. She's still sitting in front of her terminal, head in her hands now. She's at least calmed down somewhat from the sobbing from earlier, but her shoulders are still shaking.]]

[John slides off of Liv, letting the Altaria follow after him as he walks briskly across the room. He grows increasingly more worried with every step as he realizes that, yes, she is indeed crying. What in the world happened?]

[A hand comes to rest on her shoulder as he reaches Rose's side. His earlier irritation with her is starting to fade a little. Kinda hard to stay annoyed with someone when they're crying and you really shouldn't have been annoyed in the first place.]

[[She jumps a little, because she just hadn't been expecting him. And at first she looks up at him like she would a strange impeding upon her personal time, but when she realizes who it is?

She smiles. And then more tears start rolling down her cheeks.]]

[And there goes his heart, along with the last of all that guilty anger he was feeling. He had planned to immediately drag her upstairs and get her to bed but, hey, plans change.]

[He pulls up the chair from the next terminal over, sitting down next to her and taking one of her hands into his own.]
