some of these new floors if they can even be called that are a little
weird
the one with the handprints everywhere especially

[He blushes and nods, looking around] Uh...there's a bench over there.

[She lets herself be led over to it and then settles on it heavily, looking up at him and lacing her fingers with his.]

So... should we..?

[She's not sure whether to end that with 'stop' or 'keep going'- she's leaving the choice to him, if only because she wants to make up for her earlier insecurities. So she lets herself trail off and squeezes his hand, waiting.]

[He sits with her, squeezing her hand, then he touches her chin and leans a little closer.] I'd love to kithh you a bit more, if you want.

[She smiles and leans in, eyes slipping shut as she gives her reply by means of another kiss, her other hand sliding over his shoulder again as she scoots a little closer to him.]

[Their lips meet again and he slips his arms around her neck again, kissing her softly. He feels like he could stay here, like this, forever.]

[She sighs softly into the kiss, reveling in the warmth the contact makes bloom in her chest. After such a long time of not being able to feel anything, every time she gets to feel something new she makes an effort to enjoy it as best she can- and this was definitely worth enjoying. She nips lightly at his lower lip then, curiosity getting the better of her as the graze of his fangs across hers (by accident, she presumes) makes a shudder go down her spine.]

[He shivers in response, gasping softly, then leans in a little closer and nips at her lower lip. Oh yeah, this is getting a little less sweet and a little more interesting]

[She curled her fingers against his spine, her other hand slipping to the nape of his neck, trailing her fingertips up and down the back of his neck idly. She couldn't have told the difference in the feel of the kiss if she tried- everything was just wonderful to her and only getting better the longer she got to be so close to him.]

[He licked the spot he'd just bitten, then lifts his head and grins at her]

[She looked back at him, her smile a little more demure but no less playful and leaned in to copy him, giving a careful nip and lick before pulling away.]

[He grins] Oh yeah. A lot. [He lifts his fingers and strokes her hair softly] I'm tho fucking lucky.

I'm pretty sure I'm just as lucky.

[She leans into the touch, turning her head a little to nuzzle her cheek against his hand. She let her fingers settle at the base of his neck, and closed her eyes as she leaned against him.]

I'm so glad to be with you again...

No way. [Just a bit of his old self-hatred showing through, despite his happiness right now.

He slides his hands down to hug her as she leans against him, content to leave it like this for the moment.]

Yeah, me too. No offenthe, aa, but you being dead really thucked.

Yes way. You're the best thing in my life Sollux, you always were.

[She let herself lean against him, fingers keeping up their slow, careful movements, letting herself settle into the warmth of his arms.]

Yeah, it wasn't exactly the best time for me either.

[He can't think of anything to say that'll top that, so he says nothing, blushing and stroking her hair and burrowing into the warmth and scent of her.]

[Her own fingers slide into his hair, and she runs them through it idly, even as she realizes that with her wings, their current position is a little awkward. She pouts against his neck a little, almost chastising herself to be mindful of her lipstick before remembering that he's probably got a fair bit of it peppered up and down the side of his neck.

Whoops.

She giggles softly at that and tries to snuggle in a little closer despite the awkwardness of the position, mindful of her horns.]

Despite the warmth of her, he's starting to shiver a little as the water on his skin dries]

Think I'm gonna go get changed...

[The lipstick she's no longer wearing oops.

But she pulls back and nods, smiling slightly, and gives him another peck on the nose.]

Yeah, okay. I should probably at least change my shirt...

[Because really, the front of her hoodie had kind of absorbed most of the water on his chest, as close as she was. She hesitated, and then kissed the corner of his mouth shyly.]

[He grins and turns his head slightly, kissing her properly before getting up.]

[And he turns towards the stairs, unaware of the lipstick all over him]

[She shakes her head a little to clear it a bit and then watches him go, fingers skating over her mouth idly. With a bubbly laugh- she's not quite used to being able to feel this exuberant again quite yet, and it sometimes still catches her off-guard. She stands up and stretches, and then makes her way dreamily to her room, humming quietly to herself.

Goodness, her matesprit was just so... amazing.]
