[ANON TEXT] ON COWARDS AND COLLARS
Open your eyes, Tower.
Collar checks are back on.
I was told once that these checks are important to ensure our survival here; this belief is clearly flawed. Or if it ever were a fragment of the truth, how can that notion even be justified now when we are all now so painfully aware of the true nature of our existence here. Shouldn't we now all be feeling the adverse effects having not had our liquid changed in over a month?
This liquid is at least part of the integrity of this many-layered prison we reside in. It strengthens the bars of our cages, twists our wills into obedience. Our souls, cores, spirits - whatever you would call them, we are powerful enough to be a threat to them! But currently, we can be only as powerful as they allow us to be. Only ever as "free" as to whatever-extent the nerve of whichever admin feels that we deserve.
Yet still here we are, all lined up neatly at the Infirmary like cattle to a bi-weekly slaughter. You hear your color announced and like the mindless drones they would have of us you follow without question.
It's a part of Tower-life.
It's disgusting to think that you all still think this is a necessary requirement, that it is somehow justified! Or perhaps you have given up already. Well, you might as well go down there and offer yourselves to her, surrender all that you have left to the Tower of Animus.
A stone in an ocean will only ripple the water, so will a few pebbles. A landslide may flood the land, but a big enough chunk of rock can obliterate everything.
Next time, ignore the announcement. Avoid the 2nd Floor. They cannot force us all. The clock is ticking.
[OOC: Signups for the MASS COLLAR BOYCOTT are here and run until the day prior til your next characters collar check.]

anon text;
If you still choose to participate in this, then that is your prerogative. But keep in mind that your actions, however well-intended they are, will not only have ramifications for yourselves, but for all those that call this Tower their prison.
Words alone won't stop the truly determined, but I ask that you remember what I said about choosing one's battles carefully. One must be capable of rational thought in order to be effective in any kind of long-term struggle.
text
You can spend your life waiting and waiting for the perfect moment, mon ami, but you may be waiting for a moment that will never come.
Besides, we'll all have to make sacrifices before this painful chapter of our lives is at its end. So we might as well make those sacrifices together, don't you think?
anon text;
I don't think it foolish, to stand together. The hearts of many hold more strength than the hearts of the divided. Ending suffering, righting wrongs, protecting what matters the most... all reasons to stand and fight when all hope seems lost.
[Oops, did he go a little 'big damn hero' for a second there?] Though logically, I know this will not end well for everyone involved... I wish you luck.

Thank you, my friend. And I wish you the same in whatever it is you decide to do.
We are all together in this, no matter what paths we end up taking. It is only a matter of time before those pathways end up intertwined.
For now, adieu.
I'm eager to know when we'll meet face-to-face.
[And he thinks he'll leave it at that today.]
