Would anyone like to have another friend?
[Short, sweet, and to the point - she's very tired of having more accidental enemies than people she can rely on.]

And I'm not entirely up to anything as of the moment, aside from speaking with you. I'll see you in just a few minutes.
I'll be wearing my cloak, so you will know who I am.
[And a few minutes it is - she's wrapped up in her cloak and is armed to the teeth like always, but once she enters the workshop, she pulls her hood down and scopes around for whom she was looking for.]

[ Doc gets off the network and goes back at his current experiment. When Zelda arrives at the workshop, she’ll probably notice Doc standing next to some kind of super-computer he tried to assemble ever since he first woke up in the tower. Three screens next to each other, a couple of keyboards and a mess of wire and electronic stuff bellow.
The middle screen is that of a classical computer, reading as follow: ]

[ The left screen display the perfect reproduction of a Flux Capacitor with many texts and scientific calculation that are probably unreadable to most people. The screen on the right looks like a video game- It shows a simple car in the Meadow with someone sitting in it.
When Zelda comes in, Einstein (his dog) barks to warn Doc, who turns to her. He was wearing a lab coat and goggles. He waves at her as he was about to enter something on the keyboard and hands her a pair of goggles. ]
Heh! Come, watch this!

But she does approach, her expression one of wonder as she puts on the goggles.]
Goddesses... What is all of this, exactly?

This is the closest thing to a super-computer you'll find in here and it is about to run my 4th Time Displacement simulation!
[ That's assuming she knows what a computer is... And he assumes so since she used the network. Maybe latter he should give her better explanations though. ]
The tower makes the use of a time machine impossible. There are no places wide enough for the time vehicle to reach the required 88 miles per hour. I need to find alternatives, but it would be too long and too risky to try them in real life. If something went wrong, the driver of the vehicle could be disintegrated or worst, this whole tower could be erased from the space-time continuum!
[ Time travel is serious business. ]
Using the computers, I could create a virtual environment to recreate real-life conditions and experiment with alternatives. This way, I can see whether this would work or not, without actually risking anything!

... Well, ah - you were correct in thinking that this would be of interest to me... Doc. I am the Hero of Time, where I'm from.
However, I'm afraid I don't understand how any of this works at all. Technology... it's few and far between, in my world. I come from a land of magic; it was only by chance that I have figured out the "terminals" in the hallways.
[The way she pronounces "terminals" makes it sound almost foreign - but to her, it is, so...]
...
That's not to say I'm not interested in this, of course. The contraptions and machines that everyone here knows about have always caught my curiosity.
no subject
[ Wait, what? Hero of Time? Have a surprised expression. ]
Hero of Time? What do you mean by that?
[ And he tries not to scoff at the mention of magic. That makes a lot of people now that mention "magic" and as far as he's concerned, that's merely technology they interpreted as magic. Science can explain everything. ]
Don't worry, you'll figure out how technology works. It's not as complicated as it looks like, it's actually very easy once the basics are learnt.
no subject
[Even if she only has a very basic understanding.]
As for my title, it's... a little difficult to explain. If I were you, I would question perhaps my royal counterpart for more information. Her name is Zelda as well, of course. But be polite - unlike myself, she is a princess.
[The way she speaks of this all seems really natural, of course. Even though she's new to it, she almost has a natural grasp and understanding of the flow of time.]

[ Facepalming for a couple seconds. So there are many versions of the same people in the tower. He had suspected as much but he had been unable to be sure... That is until now. ]
If you ever have difficulties with technology, you can ask me anytime it's my field of expertise as you can see!
[ Especially everything relating with time, which is good since she sounds as though she has experience in this domain. ]
no subject
I would love to learn more about technology from you, Doc.
[She accentuates that with a polite and grateful bow, as well as a sunny smile.]
And about my counterpart, well... it is a lot easier to understand when your whole destiny revolves around time and its flow. Simply put, she comes from a separate timeline from myself; as though some cataclysmic event caused our destinies themselves to be reversed.
no subject
[ He smiles too but wait, separate timeline? Cataclysmic event that caused their destinies to be reversed? Like Marty would say, that's heavy. ]
Then this means the Many-worlds interpretation of quantum physics may be true, which implies an infinity of parallel universes exist with each of them representing a possible quantum outcome...! Or we may be in presence of a much more classical multiverse...
[ At this point he's more speaking for himself because damn, that's some fascinating stuff as far as he's concerned. All's not that bad in the tower. ]
That or somehow time travel in your homeworld resulted in a split of the timeline and... Yes, you said you are the Hero of Time and your whole destiny revolves around time and its flow,. I can only assume time travel was involved! Am I right? Yes, that's the explanation...
no subject
Yes, I do believe that's it; though, the parallels may be true as well!
But as the Hero of Time, I am capable of time travel of sorts, though as of this moment I have not attempted true travel on my own accord, nor have I gone through true travel in all sense of the word.
[... She has to stop and think of this, actually.]
... In fact, I believe all that has truly "traveled" is my mind.
no subject
Only the mind...? If there was a way to isolate your spirit it could be possible but time travel has to be done through the use of a vehicle or conduct for safety so how is it...?
[ He scratches his head. Only the mind travelling? Wait, there's got to be an explanation... ]
Yes of course, your body itself was most likely used as the conduct for the time travel... Only your brain waves traveled, from the present to either the futur or the past. This is actually a limited yet very safe way to conduct time travel. This is only a theory of course, but why would only your mind need to travel in the first place?
