Would anyone like to have another friend?
[Short, sweet, and to the point - she's very tired of having more accidental enemies than people she can rely on.]

everyone wants friends
[text]
But I would rather not step on the toes of those who do.
You understand, don't you?
[text]
well if you need a friend you can come talk t'me
[text]
I am Zelda, by the way. Not the princess, of course. It's a pleasure to meet you.
[text]
the princess is my ancestor my great great great great grandmother or somethin
nice to meet ya too

Then, I suppose, there must be a Tetra from my timeline as well. It's a curious thought, and I see no reason for there not to be.
Does that make you of the Royal Family, then?

But just to make sure we match, what does your preferred definition of friendship entail?

Trust would be a large part of it of course, as well as perhaps kindness and the ability to rely on one another. Being able there for each other when something has happened is something appreciated in a friendship, as well.
And putting up with faults, while it may strain friendships from time to time, may be necessary depending on who's attempting to befriend whom.
[There's a pause here, before she sends one more piece of text.]
A good sense of humor isn't required, though I've noticed it helps.

My name's Willow, by the way. Willow Rosenberg. A good sense of humor is definitely a requirement in my case.

I must thank you, Willow. I needed to hear that, after all I've been through here.

I'm happy to help? I know it gets pretty awful here, and hard to feel like you should keep trying, but. We have to.

And it isn't everyone I've met, luckily; I simply haven't many friends here, as one of my close ones have left, and the other few I've met in high strung situations.
I suppose you can say I'm attempting a more casual way of making friends?

[ And like one minute latter. ]
If you have time, pass by the workshop on the fifteenth floor, I may have something of interest for you.

And I'm not entirely up to anything as of the moment, aside from speaking with you. I'll see you in just a few minutes.
I'll be wearing my cloak, so you will know who I am.
[And a few minutes it is - she's wrapped up in her cloak and is armed to the teeth like always, but once she enters the workshop, she pulls her hood down and scopes around for whom she was looking for.]

[ Doc gets off the network and goes back at his current experiment. When Zelda arrives at the workshop, she’ll probably notice Doc standing next to some kind of super-computer he tried to assemble ever since he first woke up in the tower. Three screens next to each other, a couple of keyboards and a mess of wire and electronic stuff bellow.
The middle screen is that of a classical computer, reading as follow: ]

[ The left screen display the perfect reproduction of a Flux Capacitor with many texts and scientific calculation that are probably unreadable to most people. The screen on the right looks like a video game- It shows a simple car in the Meadow with someone sitting in it.
When Zelda comes in, Einstein (his dog) barks to warn Doc, who turns to her. He was wearing a lab coat and goggles. He waves at her as he was about to enter something on the keyboard and hands her a pair of goggles. ]
Heh! Come, watch this!

Is asking for allies like this common where you come from.
[Text]
But when all else fails, it doesn't hurt to attempt a direct approach, does it?
As for allies, however, I would be asking an entirely different question.
Friends and allies are completely different concepts, after all.
I can be allied with someone without entirely liking them.
[Text]
That is true, you don't necessarily have to like them to be allied.
So what you're asking for seems odd for a place like this. Are you one of the ones who's... 'sad' at whatever these 'saviors' have been doing lately?
[Text]
They have forced children to fight to the death, as well as created floors and rooms with the simple purpose of torturing us.
It's difficult to not be upset with all of this.
But that is neither here nor there, as letting it get to me will only play into whatever twisted game our "saviors" are playing, I'm sure.
And that is why I am asking to make friends. If I am to be here, I may as well find ways to enjoy myself.
Find others whom I like, stay away from the dangerous floors, things of that nature.
[Text]
Those things are common in some places. So I'm guessing you're from a nicer locale? [Frankly if they were upset over something like this, he wondered how long she'd last in Zaun or Noxus.]
Have you not had any luck making friends in this place?
