Is it true that our worlds' destroyed like the letter says? I mean, it sounds a bit morbid for a welcoming letter, don't you think? And just how large is this tower anyways?

There are a lot of different worlds, and there's evidence for both sides, so I suppose it's possible that some worlds are destroyed and others aren't.

My guess is it would just depend on what you know about your own world. I know it's possible, but the circumstances that lead to destruction are likely very different. At the least, I doubt there was one, unified force that destroyed them all at once.
