[Even though the feed's started, Genda's quiet for a moment or so - it's unclear if he doesn't know the video's running, or if he's just nervous. But he does speak after a bit of silence, his face serious.]

My name is Genda Koujirou - I am the goalkeeper of Neo Japan, if anyone is familiar with my team. I have a few questions, for those willing to listen and answer them. Please be respectful - I am new to all of this, so...

[... Augh - he shakes his head at that, steeling himself again. Talking to presumably a lot of people - it's got him nervous. But his Coach wouldn't be nervous like this, and neither would the rest of his team!]
I want to know just a few things.
Was our world really "destroyed"? Is there real, tangible proof?
And where are we? Looking out the windows, there was only fog as far as I could see... it's odd.
Is there a way out of here?
[He pauses then, looking to the side, before looking back; he doesn't really want to believe there isn't, but...]
... If there is no way out, I have just a couple questions.
Is there a way to stay preoccupied? And what kind of animals live here?
Also, is there a soccer field? Or, at the very least, a field large enough for one?

Soccer is one of those "sports" that people play in using a black and white ball to kick across the field, right? "Goalkeeper" means... you're the one who stands in front of the goal and can use your hands! Wow, I never thought I'd see someone who'd still play it!

But yeah! As far as I can tell, it looks pretty fun! I haven't seen enough of this place to say if there's a large enough space, though. Kinda sucks, I want to try playing it too.

[He's even known as the King of Goalkeepers!! But it's kind of narcissistic to bring that up in casual conversation, so he refrains.]

You said something about your world being nearly destroyed by monsters...
How did you survive something so terrifying, if it's alright for me to ask?

Well, my world has this job called "God Eater" who fights against the monsters, that's called Aragami, to protect humankind. I'm one of them, and I fight using this God Arc here!
[He moves out of the screen to show his huge assault gun before peeking back in again.]
My friends are also God Eaters too! Some of them use guns like me and the others use swords!

That's... quite the weapon you have. I've never seen something like that unless it was on TV or being used as a soccer technique...
And it's your job to fight things like that? You must be so powerful, Kota!

[Wait... being used in soccer? He gives a confused look as he puts his God Arc away from the screen.]
People use these kind of things in a soccer match??

[... Oh. He nods, smiling again.]
Yes. Though it's viewed as taboo to use them otherwise.
I... think I could show you, if you'd like. If my world is really destroyed, then the rules technically are as well, right?
I've never attempted them off field, though.

If you come find me, I can show you one of my techniques, Kota - I'm just on the fourth dorm floor.

[And then the video feed ends on Kota's side. A little while later, he finds his way up to the fourth floor, curiously looking around.]

Hello - that didn't take you long at all.

Compared to chasing and dodging attacks from the Aragami, going up two floors is a piece of cake!
[And then he moves the topic to what he came for.]
So how's your special powers look like??

[He really shouldn't... need to describe that.]
Of course, seeing it is much more impressive than imagining it. Do you know of anywhere that's wide enough for something like that?
I could probably manage it in this hall here, but...

[Doesn't wanna hurt anyone in the process, you know?]
Action; I apologize for the wait, I needed more expressions
Hmmm... Well I haven't gone through the entire tower, but I think I passed by a floor with a huge field with stuff growing on it.
[Aka the farmland place. Not that he knew much that people were trying to grow stuff there.]
Action; don't worry about it!
[But if it's a field... he might be able to use it!! Not that he knows Kota's talking about farmland.]
Show me the way!

Right! Off we go!
[And Kota raises a fist into the air as he starts making his way up the floors... All the way to Floor 33.]

Genda stops for a moment to survey the floor, and gives Kota a smile.]
This is perfect! You may want to move back a bit, though - I've never used this off of the field before, so I'm not sure what might happen.

Oh man, oh man this is gonna be so awesome!
[He does make sure to a few hops back to give the Genda some space, though.]
Action
[Once he's sure Kota's far enough away, Genda takes his stance and holds his fist up to the air - a bright light above it solidifying into what looks like a giant drill.]
Drill Smasher...
[And that's when he swings it in front of him, the drill kicking on and whirring to life, spinning at a... pretty dangerous speed, actually!]
V2!!
[Normally, that's when he'd block someone else's shot - but since no one's taking one at him, he lets the drill dissipate back into nothingness, and gives Kota a grin.]
