Hello. I am... Er.
My name is Genda Koujirou - I am the goalkeeper of Neo Japan, if anyone is familiar with my team. I have a few questions, for those willing to listen and answer them. Please be respectful - I am new to all of this, so...

[... Augh - he shakes his head at that, steeling himself again. Talking to presumably a lot of people - it's got him nervous. But his Coach wouldn't be nervous like this, and neither would the rest of his team!]

I want to know just a few things.
Was our world really "destroyed"? Is there real, tangible proof?
And where are we? Looking out the windows, there was only fog as far as I could see... it's odd.
Is there a way out of here?

[He pauses then, looking to the side, before looking back; he doesn't really want to believe there isn't, but...]

... If there is no way out, I have just a couple questions.
Is there a way to stay preoccupied? And what kind of animals live here?
Also, is there a soccer field? Or, at the very least, a field large enough for one?

Of course. I have a strict training schedule - I can't start slacking off, no matter where I am.

Besides, what if there's a chance we'll get to go home? I'd be miles behind my team.

[... And he's not sure if they'd let him catch up. He's not their only goalkeeper, after all.]

I don't know, the whole 'your world is destroyed' argument seemed pretty convincing, everyone here seems to believe in it.. [ his own opinion on it is left out, though. ] Besides, if you're really important to the team, they wouldn't leave you out even if you were gone for a while.

I'm not my team's only goalkeeper - if I leave, only to return and be behind my team, I'd only be holding them back from our goal.
On the path to facing the world, a hindrance would be better gotten rid of than kept.

[He pauses there, shifting a bit.]

... I don't want to believe that our world is gone. It does seem very convincing, but if that's the case - why save me?
Why not someone with more importance, like a prime minister, or a president?

Anyway, this is the tower. I don't think anyguppy knows exactly where it is, though, and there isn't a way out.

There's a gallery up on the twenty-second floor that shows pictures of - I don't know whether it's one of those things that just shows you where you're from or shows pictures of everybubbly's worlds, but there's that.

...that, and one of the people that runs this place came on the network the otter day and bassically confirmed it.

... So, our worlds are really gone, then.

[He falls back against his seat, letting out a very heavy breath. His whole team, everything they worked for - no, the whole world, and all of its people... all of the life there, every animal, every person...]

... And they decided to save me? Out of everyone?

[She sighs just as heavily.]

I asked the same thing. I asked it over and over. Because - it doesn't feel like it should have been just one perchson. Or even a few. It should've been everyone.

I'm not sure what to think of this. Of any of this.

I'm just a kid - I haven't even graduated junior high, yet...

[He pauses, and shakes his head a bit. If he's the only one he knows from his world, then he's their representative. He needs to give everyone a good opinion of his home.]

... If we're to be here in the long run, we should get to know each other, right?

It's a pleasure to meet you, Feferi. I hope we can be friends.

[After seeing Genda's video, Kidou decided to go looking for him. It took him a good while, but he finally spots Genda at a terminal a ways down the hall. He jogs over, a smile on his face.]

Genda!

...

[The goalkeeper stares at Kidou for a moment or so, like he's staring death in the face - what is he doing here, if their world was destroyed...?]

... Kidou? Is it...
It's really you, isn't it?

[Don't mind him, he's just... going to take a step forward, and gently touch Kidou's cheek - as if he's expecting his hand to go through it.]

[His smile softens and he places a hand on Genda's shoulder]

It's really me.

[Another pause, and Genda hugs him, silent.]

... I thought this place had only spared me. But why us?
Why save a couple of kids, instead of someone important?

So there's screen with a kid with a smile pasted on his face.]

Soccer is one of those "sports" that people play in using a black and white ball to kick across the field, right? "Goalkeeper" means... you're the one who stands in front of the goal and can use your hands! Wow, I never thought I'd see someone who'd still play it!

I've only seen it on TV back at home... My world was near destruction by monsters before it really got destroyed, so there weren't any space or the safety to play it before.

[Kota gives a frown and sighs, reminded how his world's gone. Sob. But he goes back to his usual cheerful self...or at least try to.]

But yeah! As far as I can tell, it looks pretty fun! I haven't seen enough of this place to say if there's a large enough space, though. Kinda sucks, I want to try playing it too.

So one of the first things you worry about after waking up in a strange place is whether or not there are animals here. Good to see you have priorities.
