H-hey! What's going on here?!

[ A voice penetrated the networks, somewhat strained. Someone might have been running around a little too much after getting up in a strange room.

She didn't even give a second thought to where she was going, until she found the library. The library had those strange techie things that she had always noticed in Facility from time to time. It reminded her of her Faciliberry, in which did not function correctly. She couldn't reach anyone beyond that.

On top of that, she wasn't quite sure what to believe right now. Could Val be playing a trick on her again, or was this really happening?

She furrowed her brows. ]

Val this isn't funny. I'm not laughing.....where is everyone? Yujinn? Zero? Maka?

[ she mused softly.... ]

This....can't be happening.... again.

[The voice on the other end sounds very young but concerned at the same time. His face isn't in view yet, so all Ishtar sees for now is the back of an over-sized blue-violet, black and white uniform jacket and wild dark blue hair.]

We seem to have commonly woken up in a strange place. According to the letters, our worlds were destroyed. I can't sense anyone from my world, so my guess is that we are captives for the preservation of our races.

This...can't be happening again..

[ After a good ten minutes or so, the princess finally managed to collect herself. He was right though, no tracking spell could detect anyone she knew in Facility, and those she probably didn't know were here. The girl furrowed her brows. ]

...I guess, you're right. I can't feel anyone else here, either....but it's really hard to believe....can Facility even be destroyed?

[ She closed her eyes. ]

I'm sorry...I'm probably confusing you. [ There's a half attempt to smile. ]

[Elian shakes his head for a brief moment to stave off the bad memories he had with the facility he knew in his world that was only known as The Facility where he was born, tortured and refined even if he's a clone.

However, her mention of sense has him intrigued and he raises his brow.]

I doubt we are discussing of the same place. I don't recognize you. Any place can be destroyed given the effort. I come from...correction, I once lived in a world that it didn't matter what you did, something was always lost.

[ Ishtar lowered her eyes, and became a little quiet after her comment. She wasn't sure how she wanted to take this, much less get comfortable with the fact that she wasn't there anymore, as lovely as it was to know she wasn't in Facility anymore.

She ran a hand through her hair and continued to speak, her tone a little sad. ]

I doubt it-- wait you're also from an experiment Facility?

[ She mused looking over at the move, her eyes might have widened a little. It probably wasn't the same as hers, but when he said that, she could help but ask the question. ]

I guess so, but where are the survivors? I mean if it was destroyed, people would have to be able to escape as well right?

Ah....I see..

It's hard to compare without knowing both sides first. That can wait another time.

[Right now, he's more concerned about his surroundings now than dwelling on a past he can't change. His eyes look down for a moment, then to the side, followed by an almost embarrassed glance.]

This may seem sudden and a bit bold on my part, but right now we have bigger things to worry about such as what is this place really. So, in spirit of my late friend Cougar, would you care to join me in some exploration? I feel as if we have a lot to discuss.

...I guess not. Sorry, I'm kind of shaken up about all of this.

[ She wasn't meeting the person's gaze at first, but when he spoke again, she might have lightened up a little. ]

True, we gotta figure out what this place is exactly and what we're suppose to accomplish here. There's also the thought of, is there a way out?

[ She paused a moment. ] Though, I doubt it, if there had been no way out of that place.

[ She closed her eyes. ]

I actually like that idea. Yeah, I'm Ishtar, it's a pleasure to meet you Elian.

It's okay. I'm used to things like this, even though I still hate it.

[Now that he was starting to get to know Ishtar better, he let go of his formal speech patterns for a more friend-based tone.]

You know, I would have seen a door somewhere that leads outside. All I see are a bunch of inside doors, monsters on the floors above and lots of people that would prefer a dentist than this place. I can't say that I blame them.

[He gives a small grimace and a sigh.]

I guess there's no point in arguing that fact, huh.

I guess I should be used to this, but it still bothers me to some extent.

[ She replied shrugging. She really shouldn't be surprised anymore, but it was still irritating to deal with. She was taken from home, thrown into an experiment facility, and now this. She didn't really know how to stomach all of it right now. ]

...I don't like the sound of this at all....I'd probably take a crazy murderer over this place right about now.

[ Just note that she was really being sarcastic about this. ]

No, there isn't, but yeah I'd like to look around if you don't mind coming with me.

[He gives a nod. Even though it may not appear that he's smiling, it's there but faint.]

That would be an outstanding option. I was thinking of asking a few more to come along with us to explore, if you don't mind. It would be beneficial.

[ She might have noticed that, but didn't say anything. They were strangers right now. She didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable. ]

Nope, I don't mind at all. The more the merrier is what I always say hehe.

Then, I'll gather a party and we can get started.

[Leaning down, he disappears off the screen as he tightens up the cuffs of his slacks, and makes sure that his spats are tied properly]

We'll meet in the Cafeteria in an hour. I suggest getting in a good meal, or at least something palatable, and bring some extra water bottles. Pack light.

Okay, I'll make sure to meet you there soon. I'll have to figure out my way around this place first.

[ She replied with a nod. She also had to go fetch her sword before anything else happens. ]

I'll make sure to do that, and this sounds like a serious excursion or something.

[ She'll probably need water, and a couple of snacks. Otherwise, she would have everything else under control. ]

[He shakes his head slowly.]

I wouldn't call it serious. I just don't take chances in an unknown place.

[Been there, done that and bought the t-shirt, he's not looking forward to having his ass handed to him again.]

I guess, taking precautions is a good thing as well. Alright, I understand.

[ She nodded her head briefly. Ishtar probably would last well if she wasn't over prepared, so she took his advice seriously. ]
