i mean it was kind of terrifying the first time
and maybe even the second time
but at this point its like the hugest fucking waste of time to be stuck lying on your bed waiting to get feeling to your fingers again
but now im curious
what is the longest you got stuck lying in bed for
like an approximate if you werent sure of the exact time

[He's not the best drawer though.] Cool. Another thing for another time. [Good thing she won't ever know. Hopefully.] The movie is starting. [That jackass totally changed the subject. He doesn't want to think much about it. He'll have to think about how long he's been here and how much he's been out of touch with everything he used to do.]

[Not that she cares.] Right. It's a plan. [Hopefully, because that would be tremendously awkward for all parties involved. She watches him a bit longer after the subject change; she saw what he did there. Well, if he'd rather not talk about it, she'll just look back at the screen.]

[Nope. He was totally not obvious about it. But he turned his attention back to the screen.

Who doesn't notice when someone wears sunglasses while watching a movie? Naminé. It's both because she's just so used to seeing him like that that she doesn't think about it too much and because even those silly opening things everyone has seen a bajillion times when watching movies are new and interesting to her.]

[These two are just flawless. But Dave is glad she seems pretty entranced with the movie. It's kind of cool the first few times you see it. Not so much when you've probably seen it that you can't count it on your toes and fingers.]

[Movies in general are enough to get that reaction out of her, though one that's so... well, fanciful, does add something to the experience.]

[In hindsight, Willy Wonka is probably a movie that doesn't really ease someone into the movie viewing experience, but hey. Might as well start with a bang, right?]

[It seems to be working well enough. She'd probably find it a lot sillier if she didn't come from a universe where Santa and mermaids and talking skeletons and zombie pirates are all things that legitimiately exist. As it is, she seems to be having fun, if one knows her expressions.]

[Dave glances at her once in awhile, to see how she's reacting to the movie. He kind of just smiles a bit. This was kind of nice.]

[Naminé appears to be enjoying herself, attention rapt as she watches the movie. It definitely gets a few smiles and a few frowns, but never bad ones. Kind of nice, indeed.]

[It's actually kind of fun to watch someone watch a movie. Especially if that person wasn't usually familiar with these kinds of things.

It was pretty amusing. Or maybe Dave just like to observe her reactions.]

[They're pretty good reactions, at least for someone like her, who's typically on the more restrained side. If one knows what to look for, anyway.]

[He's going to idly look at what to put in next while she continues to watch. He's seen this movie before so he knows what's happening. He wants to make sure they can go straight into the next one. Need to see all the movies!]

[All the movies, all of them! Although this one is kind of making her frown at the moment, because bratty kids are bratty but also those punishments are kind of. Not very nice. But what's a story without problems, right?]

[He'll probably choose something less intense then. Maybe an animated film. Those are usually pretty great, right? It's hard choosing movies when characters are appable from them ROFL.]

[WELP considering her universe is one big canon puncture--]

[She seems to be okay most of the time! This is a lot easier to watch than Con Air was. (She had her eyes closed for half of it, it seemed.) -- Oh, she's smiling again.]

[Guess Disney movies isn't a think he can show. Thinking of movies is hard.]

You having fun? [He likes it when she smiles. Okay, okay.]

[WELL there are plenty of them with characters she wouldn't know of, and besides, she'd just figure some alternate universe or some such shenanigans were going on.]

[She turns to blink at him, obviously pretty absorbed in the movie.]

[But everyone has got to see The Lion King at least once.]

Sorry. Didn't mean to distract you from the movie.

[But he's quite glad she's enjoying herself. He feels like he did something good, even if it was just making one person in this entire Tower smile and enjoy herself.]

[That's a recipe for the sads, at least part of the beginning of it, but clearly it is a rite of passage and therefore one she must perform to be a fullfledged teenager.]

[It's very much appreciated, and that's especially obvious in the way she smiles warmly at him before turning back to the movie.]

[Everyone must watch Disney movies. At least one. But The Lion King is important to watch. At least Dave thinks so.

KJSDHSJKD He just. Smiles dumbly even if she isn't looking because she smiled at him and he's so proud even if it isn't that hard to make her smile. IT'S AN IMPORTANT VICTORY.]

[Technically she's watched condensed versions of a lot of them but those kind of sucked in comparison.]

[Not difficult, no, but she spent a lot of her life not having the chance to smile. Each and every sincere one that she can enjoy and share with others now is more meaningful, perhaps, because of that. IMPORTANT VICTORY INDEED oh hey it looks like the movie is getting closer to the end.]

[She'll get to watch the full, cooler versions! With the Disney happy endings to boot.

Oh it is getting closer to the end. He's going to to turn his attention to the screen for a bit. It's probably really creepy to keep watching her or something. Not that being socially acceptable in this place seems to matter.]

[That... is probably a better way to watch them, it's true, though she'll likely be wondering why Sora, Donald, and Goofy seem to have gotten the short end of the stick as far as recognition goes. jgdbjgkdbkg]

[Probably! Except she wouldn't know any better if it was, and she didn't pay it much mind in the first place; she's easily distracted by movies, it seems, at least while they're new and engaging. -- Aw yeah, movie's ending.]

[Dave could find A Goofy Movie for her. Although that's probably not what she'd be expecting in terms of movies involving the other.

Well, she should be distracted by them! Dave is just kind of got his mind on other things like an idiot. Plus, he's seen this movie at least once, if not more.]
