[There's a pause before any words are spoken, Ishimaru hasn't used the recording equipment here before and he's making sure it's working properly. When he seems content, he smiles cheerfully, addressing his audience.]

Good morning! It seems most people have had a chance to explore the newly built floors. I hope you all exercised caution in doing so!

[The chipper smile on his face fades slightly.]

As well, I would like to make sure it is known that the hazardous conditions are not an excuse for rule-breaking! If I find anyone behaving poorly, on my honor as a disciplinary committee head, I will see you punished for your actions.

Notably, it seems that some of you also need a reminder that cannibalism is strictly prohibited. Those found guilty of such a thing will face severe penalties!

[And Lancer blocks it with his arm. It makes a cut, but Lancer doesn't seem to mind.]

[Ishimaru takes a leap backward to recover from the punch. Sure, it hadn't killed him, but it'd definitely done a fair amount of damage. He spits out a tooth along with a fair amount of blood.]

Aah? I would have thought that from our first encounter you would have learned that I can't be beaten so easily.

[He tsks his tongue.]

I'm not gonna beat you. Just kill you.

[With that, he manifests his spear.]

[A shiver seems to pass over Ishimaru. But it's not out of fear, as should be evident from the wide grin that breaks across his face. It was more than the mild smile that often graced his face, it was a look of feverish excitement.]

Kill me? Kill me!? Aaaah, are you going to run me through with the legendary Gae Bolg? Are you!? [He lets out a manic sort of laugh, then assumes a defensive position.]

Good, come at me with everything you have, Cu Chulainn! Upupupu... Don't stop until you've made me taste the ultimate despair!

Don't think too highly of yourself.

[While killing someone who had mocked Ferdiad with the same spear, it would also shame his spear to an extent. In the end, it would depend on whether he wanted the boy's death to come quickly or if he just wanted to tear him apart with his bare hands.]

[He springs forward again.]

[Ishimaru is just having a grand old time with this! He's jumping right in too, swinging his sword at Lancer's face.]

[Instead of thrusting, Lancer swings his spear in a horizontal slash. Block if you can, Ishimaru.]

[If he really tried, Ishimaru probably would have put up a decent block.

Instead, he just keeps lunging in with his sword, ignoring the imminent danger. Whether he actually manages to land a hit or not, he's definitely taking a direct hit to the chest. He seems unconcerned.]

Ahaha! It really hurts! And look, my uniform is ruined!

[Yes, indeed there is quite a lot of blood already staining his uniform.]

[Lancer too, takes a hit across the chest. But since he's a Servant, it does less damage to him than it would do to a normal human.]

[This stuns him enough to keep him from moving to deliver a final blow.]

[He puts his free hand to the wound, looking at how it became covered in blood, seeming absently amused.]

This isn't enough though. If you want to properly get your revenge on me, you'll have to make me despair far more than this! You need to fully impress upon me the futility of fighting against someone of your caliber, Cu Chulainn!

[He reaches out to grab Ishimaru's shirt. The other hand starts bringing up his spear.]

Blah blah blah, you're quite noisy for something that wants to die so badly.

You're wrong, Cu Chulainn. Death isn't what I want, it's despair! It's simply that I've found that there's nothing more despair inducing than feeling the life drain from your body! But I'm certain a beast like you can make me suffer extra hard! So.....

[Ishimaru takes advantage of the close proximity to make an attempt at sticking his sword through Lancer's stomach.]

Don't disappoint me, is all I'm trying to say!

[The sword goes in, but Lancer seems to regard it more as an inconvenience. Wounds made by human weapons would heal for him, even if it took time.]

Oh? You want to suffer?

[He wants Ishimaru to suffer too. To die learning his lesson about not insulting Cu Chulainn's friends. But at the same time knowing that Ishimaru desires it disturbs him.]

Do I want to suffer? [He seems to think on this for a moment, all the while continuing to dig his sword into Lancer's chest, wiggling it around in an attempt to do as much damage as possible.]

No, I don't think that's quite right. If it was as simple as that, why would I bother fighting you? If I didn't fight back, I'd suffer just as much, but it wouldn't be nearly as despair inducing if I just gave up like that! I'm not that picky, either. It would be just as good if you were the one to fall to despair, Cu Chulainn! As long as someone is suffering, I don't care who it is!

[puppy_lancer]

[This actually makes him wince. Both from the physical pain and the mental revulsion.]

You're twisted.

[Gae Bolg is placed at Ishimaru's chest. Unless the boy makes some motion to resist, Lancer is going to stab down.]

[Ishimaru of course notices that wince, and it makes him smile a little.]

Twisted? Is that the best you can come up with? You're really not very creative, but I suppose I shouldn't expect much from a dog.

[He was expecting much harsher words! Even Mondo had been able to come up with names worse than that. He's certainly aware of the spear, but assuming Lancer is still grabbing onto him with his other hand, he doesn't make any move to change his position.]

[That does it. Without any reply, Lancer just stabs Ishimaru. If his aim isn't off, he'll take Ishimaru's heart with this blow.]

[The first thing that happens is that Ishimaru sheathes his sword. You'd think someone who just got stabbed in the heart would have just dropped it, but as he's clearly shown, he's far from your average person. It's a quick movement, and as soon as both his hands are free, they grab a hold of the shaft of the spear before Lancer has a chance to pull it out of his victim.

Then, he laughs. The tears streaming down his face must have been an instinctive response to the horrible pain.]

That's it! Ahaha, this pain, this despair, it's so bad I think I could die! Don't worry though, I'll make sure to repay you for this, Cu Chulainn!

[puppy_lancer]

You...

[He can't describe this anymore. Disgusting? Crazy? Horrifying?]

[He doesn't make any moves to pull the spear out.]

You're welcome to come and try.

[His voice shakes just a little.]

[How about all of the above?

Don't mind him getting his blood all over your spear, then.]

Hah. Don't underestimate me. I know that I alone can't properly punish you, but I'm nothing if not resourceful.

[He laughs again, but his breath is already becoming a little ragged.]

So? Do you feel like you've had your revenge? Are you satisfied?

[Satisfied? Of course not. Ideally, he would have killed Ishimaru before the boy could get in a word edgewise and leave him to realize his mistake in his final seconds of life. Instead, he had been taunted and stabbed and, looking at this miserable scene, he feels like he has shamed his Gae Bolg.]

[But he won't admit it. He's given his opponent a fatal wound. He had proven it was a bad idea to insult Ferdiad's memory. That should be enough.]

[He tries to laugh, but it's clear the life is draining out of him pretty fast.]

[He closes his eyes, and a moment later, his body slackens, and falls to the floor, his grip on Gae Bolg finally gone.]

[Lancer pulls the spear out and then goes to sit leaning against the wall. That little fight had drained him more than he thought. He was going to have to wait a long while to move again.]

[MEANWHILE ISHIMARU WILL JUST BE OVER HERE

Also you should probably do something about that huge bleeding hole in your stomach.]
