[There's Legolas, sitting at a terminal and looking thoughtful. There's a small, leatherbound notebook in front of him and a fountain pen. He wasn't sure if they'd belonged to anyone when he'd gathered what he needed but he could return it all later. In neat script on the first page is a passage written in Sindarin. And below it, a translation of it.]
What is it you miss of home, most of all? What is it, that if ever we return, you will seek out first?
I want to write it all here in this book. I want to make sure that no one forgets what most they miss here. No matter what it is that we endure, we'll need only look into it to remind ourselves of happier times. Times that, with hope, are not forever lost to us.

I miss my company. The dwarves and hobbit who accompany during our quest to the Lonely Mountain. If you are talking about my real home then it would be the halls of Erebor. The great stone pillars and mighty caverns. The throne, which I hope to sit on before long. Once that creature is dead and gone.
video;
[But they couldn't be. Zo could only save one person, wasn't that what they'd been told?]

It honestly doesn't surprise me to see you by that contraption again.
[ The march warden said with a slight smirk upon his lips. As usual he was dressed within the dull hues of gray and brown, but his cloak was as black as obsidian.]
Tell me, what is on your mind?
[action]
I don't visit it so often as you might think. It's very useful for my purpose though.
[He smiled though, looking at at Haldir from where he sat and made a mental note to find more colorful clothes for his betrothed. Perhaps blue or silver, threaded with forest green.]
Happiness. And trying to make sure none of us forget it.

How about you, Legolas? What are you looking forward to seeing?
[Text]
The forest and my father. I've news I look forward to giving him.
[He's talking about Haldir but, lol, no one knows yet.]

That's what I want. To see the sun.
Video (I cannot help myself with this)
[His smile is a faint one but it's there, as he writes in the book with an equally elegant script as he used for his own. He doesn't write it in Sindarin this time though, since that would be rude and completely beside the purpose of writing it.]

..If we ever return..I would like to seek out a few old friends that I know. As for my universe..what I miss most is the fact that people can have free will..and make their own choices, for good or ill..most of the time.
[Text]
I hope that you will find them.
We have free-will here as well but we are restricted by the tower what decision we may make.

...and I miss getting to laugh with everyone. I think, if it's spring when I get home, the first thing I'm going to do is call everyone and get them together for a picnic under the cherry blossoms outside my family's inn. Just so we can all talk and laugh and smile without anything to be afraid of. There isn't nearly enough time to laugh, or to smile here.
video;
Cherry blossoms?
[He's writing though, up until she mentions the cherry blossoms. He wants to understand before he writes. If he's unfamiliar with it, there may be others that are.]

The friend I need to awaken from slumber.
And the friend, who has been waiting so long for both of us to return.
[That is who and what he misses. Sora is here in the tower of course, and with the most recent extension and the beach floor, he can sometimes sit down and pretend, but...
In his time, Sora is sleeping. In his time, Kairi is waiting. He has not forgotten about either.
And there is nothing like the sounds and smells of home - the true home. Destiny Islands. This is what he fights to restore. Despite what he may tell himself at times, he misses it all fiercely.]

You've a lot to do when you return.
[And he's making sure to say 'when' to cement the idea that they all still have hope.]

I... she...
I wish she was here.
I am sorry that you've been separated from her. I promise that you'll see her again though.
[This makes him want to try all the harder to fight the administrators. He has to ask though:]
Do you want this written in the book?
[It's more sensitive a thing than he'd expected.]

I miss my friends who are no longer here. [Not all from 'home', exactly, but they're the most important of such a list.]
I hope that they're safe and that things are better for them wherever they are now but [it's not easy not to worry.] even if it's selfish I do miss them. [... As... much as she's capable of it, of course. Such things are naturally implied.]
I suppose I also miss not having to worry about what the administrators will do next.
[Text - Filtered]
I'm sure that they are. Even if they aren't, we will find a way to help them and everyone from back home.
It's not selfish to miss someone, to want to see someone again. Everyone has someone, or several people, that they miss. It's part of living.
[He understands the last bit though.]

His answer is pretty straight-forward.] My friends. I was looking for them, before this place.
[... your reasoning is bringing something of a smile to his face, too. He has his reminder; he carries it in his pocket all the time.]

A good answer and an understandable one.

There are those that care for you here, aren't there?

I hold no qualms to those who would miss something, or someone from their world.. but I have nothing that comes to mind. [ Having your memories stolen will do that. ] And you?
What is it that you miss the most?
video
[He smiles a bit.] Nor do I. Everyone misses something, it makes them alive. Reminds them that there are better things.
I miss the forest. And my father.

food's a super easy answer
i don't think it's ever gonna happen, but if it did, first thing i'd do would be walk to my friend's house, apologize to her, then
go home i guess
maybe ask my mom to teach me how to make a bento box
text
To lose hope would be to accept what they do to us here.
What is a bento box?

['Sup elfboy have an angelboy. Sort of.]
I can't fly on my own anymore. It's really annoying. I'll have to make Viridi or Palutena give me flight powers for a while, but... tch.

I've never known any but birds to fly. I imagine it's a truly memorable experience.

[ He smiles and shook his head. ]
But what is it you miss most from home, my friend?
As much of the world as I think you have come to know, I don't doubt that for a moment.
[Pausing.]
The forest.
