[A rather severe looking man in a black turtleneck addresses the network, oddly calm for someone who has just found out that his world was destroyed. He's a bit battered, having spent only a few moments on dressing and a hasty cleanup before heading for the nearest network terminal. There's quite a bit of dust in his hair, along with bruises and faint smears of what might be blood on his face and neck.]

My name is Howard Link. If there are any members of the Black Order present, please state your status and location. Anyone familiar with the facility, I would request your status as well. [Because last he checked? The station was pretty broken. Or well on it's way there, at least, and if he was pulled to this place? Well, there have to be others here.

He hesitates for a second or two before speaking again, glancing down briefly at something near the floor.]

... If there is anyone here familiar with the construction or repair of mechanical prosthetic limbs, please contact me at your earliest convenience.

[Link nods politely in greeting. He should probably feel a little bad for kinda completely ignoring his new roommate in favor of the network... but there are protocols to follow. Unofficial ones beaten into him after way too many situations like this one, but PROTOCOLS, man.

But since he's gotten his message out, maybe he can act like a human being again.]

[Oh thank god. She'd been so confused and worried when she woke up here with a brand-new collar and alone. The last thing she remembered was the crash and a brief stream of sunlight - or maybe it was just a regular light - hard to tell the difference in the brief moment of consciousness.]

[But right now she's just staring and attempting to find the words to say.]

[After a minute Lenalee finally does something. She responds and looks about in the same state as him. No time to take care of her injuries or scrub the wreckage from her skin but other than that she looks okay. Henry too, is perched on her shoulder.]

[They're banged up, but at least neither of them are seriously injured. Not from what Link can see, anyway. Pretty lucky considering what they just went through.

Link's expression softens a bit when Lena and her tribble appear. One exorcist accounted for.]

Miss Lenalee. Are you alright? [Because you know he has to ask.]

Link? [She's staring like she's just found hope again. Forgive her, she has no handkerchief and needs to use the corners of her new suit to dab her eyes] Thank God.

[He definitely doesn't need to ask for confirmation to know that this is his Emilia. That severe expression from before breaks almost immediately, concern and a soft smile replacing it.]

It's been damaged. I can still walk on it. [Satisfied? Because now Link would like to focus on someone who isn't himself.]

Are you alright? Were you injured?

[That expression makes her feel so warm. She holds up her hands, showing that both of her palms are skinned.]

My knees are in the same condition, but those are the only cuts I could find. My back is terribly sore, but I don't think anything is broken.

I've travelled through the lifts of this tower. It's so large it's overwhelming.

[Even after all her years under Val, or perhaps because of them, it's a shock. But still, she smiles at him gently.]

I think now it might be easier to cope with.

[Oh, thank goodness, it's Allen. Link had been hoping he'd speak up sooner rather than later, but so long as the boy is alright it doesn't really matter. The inspector opens his mouth to speak, but cuts off abruptly when Allen begins to talk. "Long time no see"? And he looks younger than he was when Link saw him last. Several years younger.

This isn't the Allen he knows.

Link frowns, studying the exorcist on the other side of the line for a few moments before venturing a question.]
