[The network is happily greeted by the face of a young man with surprisingly golden hair staring into the screen. It's hard to guess what he's feeling right now, seeing as how he was given the news that his world was destroyed. However, that didn't seem to phase him much, so he's not as shocked as others might be. He's relieved to know that some of his possessions came with him, but...

Enough contemplation, he finally begins to speak up.]

A shame, isn't it? That our worlds are gone? It's nothing that I would have expected in the first place, seeing as it's a bit hard to believe. However, I'll have to put my trust into it that my world is actually gone. Needless to say, I'll be missing my partners over there- unless some of them were brought here, as well. If you've ever heard of a Guido Mista, or Trish Una, please contact me.

...ah, I suppose I should introduce myself in the meantime. My name is Giorno Giovanna, and I greet all of you who were taken to this "Tower". Hopefully time will tell if I enjoy this place, or not. The atmosphere is...undesirable, however. But I'm sure some of you might have gathered that much in time.

...also, if anyone is kind enough to show me around, I would be grateful to you. I need to learn about as much of this place as I can before I can truly adventure and claim certain parts as safe. Also, a bit off the subject, but have any of you heard of what a "Stand" is? If you have, then let me know. I have some...things I'll be needing of you.

Ah, alright then. I'm not sure if Stands exist in my universe, but if they do, I'll keep on waiting for them. Assuming, of course, that we'll be able to restore them.

[..The second statement just made Tohko's grin grow, and she tried to pat Giorno on the head again.]

I'm glad to hear that! You know, you really are a good person if you think like that.

Hm, well, you'd have to be a Stand user to actually see other Stands, but I'm sure if fortunate had it, you already ran into one but didn't know about it. But yes, if not, then we could put your will to the test.

[...h...hold on a second, he definitely wasn't used to this at all- it's evident by the slight red hue on his face, at least, when she's patting him on the head.]

Well..that's possible, assuming they do exist in my universe. However..if I haven't, we can always put my will to the test. It's not that I don't mind dying..I would just like to die for a good reason, if that makes any sense. While I love magic, I wouldn't want to hurt myself or anyone else.

[Tohko noticed that Giorno was now sporting a blush and connected it with how he was speaking to reach one deduction.]

You're welcome..but I'm sorry! I didn't mean to embarrass you!

It does make sense to me, actually, and I respect your wishes about it. [With that said, he places the arrowhead back in his pocket.] But it's nice that you hold that ideals. However, I don't feel as though I should say my feelings on the subject once more.

[His eyes shift back to her, a little smile reaching his face once more.]

Don't feel sorry about what has already occurred, I welcome anything with open arms.

Alright then. I'm not going to force you to repeat yourself. That would get rather annoying after awhile.

[..With that, Tohko smiled a little and nodded.]

Alright then! I'll have to remember that for the future.

Well, thankfully you're intelligent enough for me to not repeat myself. I hate repeating myself, as well, since it's a waste of energy.

[...ah, right. He should probably...smile back? Yeah!]

Hm, anything else I need to know about you?

Well, I'm glad to hear that, since I hate having others repeat themselves. I might be able to keep most things straight, but it always bothers me when I get a piece of the story out of place.

[And Tohko would just give a genuine smile in return, which was something, considering how much Tohko sometimes wore masks.]

Well, is there anything else you would like to know?

[Well he hadn't heard of anyone exactly sharing that same aspect with him, since he usually uses it to flush out those who are pretty dumb to begin with.]

I wonder how many more things you may have in common with myself. So...

[With a nod, he placed down the spoon in the oatmeal bowl, seeing as how it's almost finished.]

I'm sure when the time comes, I'll be sure to hound you with questions pertaining that.

[Tohko didn't have any tests or personal things that she used to flush out the foolish from the smart. She just used her own judgement and books to tell. It usually wasn't that hard. However, at that comment, Tohko smiled and nodded, looking back at Ivan and the kitchen before turning back to Giorno.]

Alright then! I'll be looking forward to that time then, and I'll have quite a few answers for you. However, until that time comes, since you've finished your oatmeal, you can eat something else, if you want. Or we can try and give Ivan the slip.

[...ah? At the idea of giving Ivan the slip, Giorno tapped the ground with his foot, trying to think of some ways that they can evade the thing.]

No, I think I've had about enough of eating for once- even if the food hardly wasn't suited to my liking. Hm...but about Ivan...

[He wasn't exactly sure what evading it would possibly entail, so he's looking at Tohko with a questioning look on his face, rather than wanting to exchange words with her.]

[At that, Tohko nodded, getting up from the table and starting to walk to the exit of the cafeteria. However, she wouldn't leave, and he smiled at Giorno.]

Just follow me! And run as fast as you can, alright?!

[And with that, she would be running up the stairs like a shot. Hopefully Giorno would follow her before the drone did, or this whole plan was going to take longer to pull off.]

[-Ah? That quick? He wasn't expecting her to start so soon, but thankfully his reflexes are quick enough that he merely follows right after her, looking behind him to make sure the drone wasn't following the two.

Thankfully, he wasn't out of shape one bit, so he just looks ahead to the running Tohko, trying to at least catch up to her.]

I hope you have an idea of where we might be going...

[One had to be quick when you were avoiding stalkers. Sadly, when Giorno looked behind him, he would spot the drone following them. It was keeping its distance, but following them nonetheless.

While Tohko wasn't the most athletic girl out there, she could do short sprints quickly, and it didn't take them long to reach the dorm levels. The moment Tohko spotted the elevator, she smacked the call button, hoping it would come before Ivan did.]

Don't..worry! I've done this before!

[Great, he figured that thing would be on their tail as fast as they took off. Still, he was trying to come up with a way of getting that thing as far away from them as possibly.

But if he used his power, that would make the drone even more suspicious, it really was a gamble of what he could do at this moment, so all he could is wait for the elevator to come, turning to Tohko while catching his breath.]

I hope it turns out well, at least. I'm trusting you.

Don't worry! It-

[Tohko cut herself off as the elevator finally arrived. The drone wasn't too far from them now, and if they hesitated, it would probably manage to follow them on the elevator, which was why Tohko quickly hopped in, hit the button for the 81st floor, and held the door open for Giorno with her hands.]

Hurry!

[Which is why Giorno reacted as well, almost seemingly diving into the elevator and quickly hit the button that closes the doors, pulling Tohko back a bit. Needless to say, the elevator doors close, leaving Giorno with a sigh of relief, as he turns to the book girl.]

...that was quite risky. Are you sure it's not going to follow us from here?

[While Tohko didn't quite expect Giorno to pull her back, she let him so that she didn't lose her hands when the door shut, even if her back did slam a bit into the back of the elevator. Tohko sighed and smiled at the questions.]

I'm sorry..but if you had any questions, this is usually the best way to get them out into the open, as well as a few other things. And it will try to locate me..but it can't tell what button I pressed. It'll have to search through the whole Tower before it finds our floor.

[He sighed a bit, a little bit at himself for letting her slam against the back of the elevator like that, but he eventually shook it off. At least now was the best time to actually get some quality questions...]

Well, I suppose it's fortunate that you actually pressed a floor where it'll take a while for it to actually find us. [A pause.] ...Are you okay, by the way? I didn't mean for you to fly back like that, but it was for safety purposes.

[Her back was still a little sore, so she just rubbed it as she spoke. However, Tohko would be alright in the long run, so she just shook her head as she spoke.]

Oh, I know! I've done this before, so I've gotten a bit used to it. And you don't have to worry! I'm alright! You didn't mean to, but if you hadn't, Ivan might have gotten in, so don't worry about it.

[He let out a sigh of relief, thankful he didn't harm the girl too much. Still, something was bugging him in the back of his mind as he looked at the floor numbers...wow, he didn't realize that the tower was...well, at this sort of height.]

If you say you're alright, then I'll have no qualms about worrying. [He patted her lightly on the head.] You're quite the strong willed girl, if you're not letting something like this affect you. Now then...

...what sort of private business would you like to speak about?

[Tohko wasn't quite used to getting headpats, even though she gave out quite a few. However, that didn't mean that she hated getting them, and she smiled at it.]

Well, I try to be. After all, if everyone around me is affected by something, I can't help them if I'm affected too.

[She then lowered her voice to a whisper.]

For one thing, your free to ask your questions. And..we can talk more freely about the rebellion.

[Right, that explanation seems to make Giorno close his eyes and nod his head slowly. He knows how it's like when others are affected by the wills of others...

But to her next statement, he opened up one eye in curiosity about this...rebellion.]

...I've been meaning to ask what the intentions of this rebellion entailed in the first place. Is it something I need to be concerned with?

[Still keeping her voice low, Tohko nodded as she replied.]

It probably is, even if you don't think you'll be involved. We're pretty much following Dax's last wishes to obtain information, break free of Ruana's rule, and restore the universes.

[...ah? He figured she must have been part of rebellion in the first place, if she was talking so ill about the administrators. But it's enough to bring out a chuckle.]

So you people so wish to seek freedom from these cursed admins. Hm...a noble cause, although...I may be able to lend a hand. And...I assure you, they won't touch me.

[At that last comment, Tohko sighed, even though she did smile. The offer was a good one, and Tohko would be more than happy to have Giorno on the team..but they always touched people here.]

Freedom and the truth. However, I'm sad to say that they touch and mess with everyone here eventually. But..if you want to be in, you're in.
