Look. No, okay, look, ja? [He holds his hands up to the camera in a "calm down" motion.] There are three posts about that silly collar thing. Talk in those. Let us do something else now, okay?

[He lifts up a book.]

We are going to read some stories, then we may discuss them. That is fun und unrelated, right? Here, I will begin.

[He clears his throat.]

Of course, that book is about the French Revolution! What do you think happened during that time?

[ There's little more she loves than gloating to others about intelligence.. .. except gore. Probably. ]

They chopped people's heads off all over the place!

I majored in medical science, not classical literature, Dummkopf! [He huffs.] I know what happened back then. I am not stupid.

[His eyes flick back and forth between the book and the girl on the screen.]

...Do they show any of that in here? Oh, I hope they do...

[ She gives him a stare and then continues in fairly perfect German aside from the heavy accent-- ] If you're going to insult people, at least do it to their face.

[ Then she returns to speaking normally though, shrugging a little. ]

It's nothing that graphic, unfortunately. Boring, isn't it..?

[The German makes him look up. The last time he spoke to someone who spoke his native tongue so flawlessly, well... That day didn't end very well. He shakes off the memory physically, and a smile worms its way onto his face.

He continues in German.]

You speak it well. I wasn't expecting that.

[Ugh, giving compliments makes him sick to his stomach. He switches back to English.]

Forgive me, it's so hard to find someone here who knows a respectable language. But-- [He casts his gaze down at the book.] Ja, it is awful. I did not luck out with this one.

Sometimes I wonder if they even know what proper entertainment is in this place. [ She sighs, as if being deprived of watching gory things or people suffering is the worst thing ever. Clearly they should be fulfilling her every whim. ]

.. Besides, don't just assume everyone in this place is an idiot, okaaaayyy? Some people actually have an ounce of intelligence!
