My thanks to all those who helped with making copies of the Tower Floor Guide in the library over the last few days. While I don't know how long the copies posted to the actual floors will last, hopefully we will more easily be able to keep copies in the libraries, cafeteria, and lounges so that when people need them, they can find them.  It probably goes without saying, but my thanks also goes out to those who have offered to watch and replenish the stacks should they get low.

As I mentioned in my last post, once the physical copies were made I wanted to put a copy of the guide onto the Network so that we have at least one permanent copy. That is what this post is for.

In the end, I decided to keep the presentation of the information simple so we could get in as much as possible. Anyone who looks over the guide and notices missing or incorrect information, please let me know by posting here.  Posts can be made anonymously since I know that the things these floors do to us are often very painful and personal in nature. I will update all information as soon as I can once it is posted.

Anyone who wishes to repost this information as new people arrive, please feel free to do so. I want it to be kept where as many people as possible can see it.  My thanks goes out to those who have volunteered to watch over this post to keep it from being tampered with.

Even if I wasn't, it wouldn't have taken long with my speed.

[As if to demonstrate, he rushes over at a speed that makes him look like a blur and gives his brother a hug.]

[Diarmuid laughs, startled by the suddenly hug. He returns it and then gives his brother an uncertain smile.]

What's that for?

Helping you feel better.

He keeps one hand over his brother's shoulder as he looks down at Diarmuid's notes.]

Thank you, but I think that is going to be hard for a very long time.

[Diarmuid falls silent for a moment before closing his eyes and whispering.]

She's gone, Brother. Cecil's gone.

[puppy_lancer]

...No.

[He whisper. Cecil had been closer to Diarmuid, but Lancer had known her too. And thought of her as a friend.]

T-they would really take her from you?

Yes...

[Diarmuid's voice is barely a whisper, his gaze unfocused and unseeing for several moments as he speaks.]

In addition to Rin. In addition to that stupid Archer of hers. In addition to Rider's Waver. In addition...

[His voice trails off for a few moments before coming back again.]

...in addition to so many others, they took the one I lo-

[He can't say it. It hurts too much, but fortunately his brother knows since the other Lancer had been the only person Diarmuid had dared to tell how he really felt about Cecil.]

[puppy_lancer]

[And now it's Lancer's own turn to blanch.]

Rin...? She...is she...?

[Diarmuid swears under his breath, eyes focusing on his brother as he reaches out to touch the other servant's shoulder.]

You didn't know? I'm sorry. I didn't realize. I wouldn't have dropped it on you like that if I had known...

[puppy_lancer]

[Lancer has to let go of his brother's shoulder, just in case he accidentally hurts Diarmuid in his anger.]

I-I didn't see.

[His hands clench into fists.]

Damn.

[He hisses, looking ready to kill something.]

Don't. It's hard, but control yourself.

[Diarmuid reaches down with one hand and puts it over his brother's fist.]

Doing something stupid won't bring her back. She would probably just laugh at you for it, actually...

[He grits his teeth, but nods. His nails dig deep into his palms.]

Then what do I do? What do both of us do?

Look at me, brother.

[Diarmuid shifts so he can catch Cu Chulainn's gaze.]

We keep moving forward. That is what we do. We harness our anger and direct it so that we can save their worlds and stop Ruana from hurting anyone else. We don't give up because there isn't anymore they can do. It's all up to us now.

[puppy_lancer]

[He stares back at Diarmuid. After a moment of reflecting on his brother's words, he nods.]

Yeah, us. All of us who are still here.

[He returns to hugging his brother. His rage hasn't completely dissipated, but he no longer feels like needing to tear something apart at this very instant.]

[Diarmuid returns the hug, resting his head against his brother's shoulder for a few moments.]

If it helps any, I am angry too. I want to hurt the administrators for doing this to us. I want to make them suffer the same as they have made us suffer. It hurts sometimes, to hold it all back, but I don't know what else to do and losing control isn't an option.

[puppy_lancer]

...If it was night, then we could go might monsters.

[He mutters, giving his brother a little squeeze.

[Diarmuid returns the squeeze before stepping back out of the hug.]

I don't know that I would want to hunt monsters right now anyway. They aren't that much of a challenge. Not like...

[He pauses a moment and looks over at his brother.]

Feel like a spar? You, me, and no holding back?

[puppy_lancer]

Whoa, really?

[His expression is half excited and half apprehensive. He does want to spar with his brother, but he's also afraid that he might go too far. Especially if he wasn't trying to hold back.]

[Diarmuid is also apprehensive, but at the same time he knows they can handle each other. They are well matched and the spar would help them both feel better. Besides, it is best they give each other a few cuts or bruises as opposed to accidentally lashing out and hurting someone who isn't as strong as they are.]

I don't see why not.

[He smirks slightly.]

Unless you are afraid I will out fight you again...

[puppy_lancer]

...You're on!

[That little challenge is all he needs.]

Meet you at the meadow!

[And he's rushing toward the staircase.]

[Diarmuid laughs as his brother takes off, but very quickly follows him. In fact, he's caught up to him by the time they make the stairs, and Diarmuid can't stop himself from taunting his brother a little as he passes him by.]

Not if I beat you there first!

[Nothing wrong with a footrace to warm one up before a spar!]

[Lancer joins in his brother's laughter and speeds up just a little as he heads up the stairs. While he does want to beat Diarmuid, he has to save his energy for the actual spar.]

[Diarmuid is thinking the same thing, so he doesn't press his speed up any farther than it already is. Besides, he had been planning on letting the other Lancer win anyway.

Perhaps it will lessen the blow when Diarmuid wins their spar.]

[puppy_lancer]

[Lancer is in the lead as he steps onto the meadow floor. He turns and grins at his brother.]

Hurry up!

[Diarmuid laughs as he joins his brother on the floor.]

Are you really in such a hurry for me to beat you?

[puppy_lancer]

[He manifests Gae Bolg.]

I think you need to reverse that order. Are you being slow because you don't want me to beat you?
