Are meaningless items the common reward for enduring the trials this place has to offer, or is there a deeper significance to these things?

I'm not even certain what sort of item I would consider significant... it would have to be something relating to my time here, I suppose.

There's no need. Regardless of whether I recover my past or not, it isn't holding me back from anything.

It's hard to be entirely complacent when you have a countdown until your doom hanging over your head.

If anything, such a countdown should be an impetus to act. Why sit and beoman your fate?
