Luckily, the Highblood was good enough to remind him about it with that horrible braying nonsense the other day. [That's okay, Summoner, Signless is pretty much expecting a young troll, too. Nearly everyone here is either a wriggler, an alien, or someone he personally knows from his own time, so it's a pretty safe bet.

He follows the directions and steps out from behind a bookcase with the tiniest bit of drama, his hood up, cloak flaring behind him, and Righteous Leggings visible. He pulls his hood back, not even snagging it on his horns, and.

[He looks... irritated when he first spots this guy, impatiently tapping a finger against the terminal he's set himself at. Once he gets a good look at his visitor though, he is... honestly about to laugh at how dedicated this guy is with the leggings and the cloak and everything. There are certainly no depictions of the real Sufferer in his time, only mentions of what he looked like. Enough for a particularly dedicated follower to pretend, but not enough for the Summoner to recognize him at first]

[Except then his gaze catches on the brilliant and absolutely impossible red of his eyes and his jaw... drops... WELP TIME'S UP HE REGRETS THAT COMMENT. It's kinda comical actually as he rakes his eyes over him once again, and shuts his mouth with the hard snap of his teeth. He sounds... six again...]

[Signless recovers from his own shock a little quicker than the Summoner does. Wings are surprising, but not that surprising. Aradia has wings, though hers are from the game, not natural.

He might have made fun of the brown blood a little, but there's something far too vulnerable in the way he says it. Signless has heard that tone before, mostly from those converted in faraway places, who've come to his camp just to see him. It still makes him feel awkward, but he won't mock someone who believes in his cause.

He approaches the Summoner and smiles gently]

Who the fuck did you think would be stupid enough to use that font and take on the Grand Highblood Subjugglator? [He rests a hand on Summoner's shoulder] Good to meet you.

[...nope. Nope nope nope, he is definitely quite slow to recover from this. Cause see, the Sufferer is dead! There is no way he thought he would ever ever ever meet him. In fact his head is filled mostly with OH MAN OH GOD OH MAN OH GOD up until the Sufferer grabs his shoulder]

[His first coherent thought after that is wow he's tiny, and there is something about being taller then his childhood hero that makes him grin like a fucking moron for a second. Oh gosh!!!!]

You'd uh... be surprised. I've met some, remarkably reckless people before. [His grin fades to something a little less DORKY KID MEETING HIS IDOL, and more like a smile in greeting, even if that whole... fanboy thing is written into his eyes]

[Woah, there is a whole shitload of hero worship going on here, isn't there, and Signless is caught a bit flat-footed by it. He's been somewhat insulated from the most fanatic, by having friends who can run interference. Sure, he knew there were some that worshipped him, but that was just weird, man. And besides, this guy is from centuries in the future, and he still...?

[Holy shit, it's fabulous, The realization sort of hits him belatedly that someone knew who he was centuries after his death, and still believes in his teachings, and it kinda chokes him up a little. Maybe everything he did wasn't just a big, colossal, fuckup ending in the deaths of his friends]

[lkjsdlfkj don't worry, bro, its already fading a little at the comment about... followers? He doesn't really consider himself a follower in the usual sense of... you know... revering the Sufferer and believing in the second coming and shit. He just thinks the guy had some really really good ideas, and he sort of owes those ideas the life he has now. He is a revolutionary and a soldier because of them, and the Sufferer just happened to be a good figurehead for him to attach onto as His Hero. So at least his smile is a little less fanatical when the guy calls him friend]

The Summoner. [...hmm] Although if you would prefer, something that isn't a title, then... I am not all that attached to it. [...this is an offer he's made to most people in the tower so far, not just a creepy fanboy thing okay okay Sufferer, don't worry pfff]

[As the Summoner calms, Signless relaxes a little, too. It's not like his own friends don't get a bit fanatical at times, anyway. It's weird to him to think of himself as any sort of historical figure, or person to be revered, but he's also used to the fact that other people do think of him that way.]

Whatever you prefer, Summoner. [Faint shrug] Of course, you can call me Signless. They call me the Sufferer in your time, right? I... don't really like that, too much.

Oh... [Curious... stare... for a second. Welp that idea never really occurred to him at all, but now that he thinks about it... probably the Sufferer is not a super nice way to be remembered]
