_{[Forward dated to the 13th.]

[The recording begins with dead air for a few tense seconds, before a young girl's voice picks up.]}

..so the network's stopped streaming all of that stuff now. If I'd gotten on and it was still happening, I don't know what I'd do. _{[Ignoring that she'd seen some people that were in the labyrinth out and walking about the tower again herself, but that had been a very.. fuzzy week for her.]}

--That's not the point of this, though. Um. Roxas, did I faint or something, the other day? And...

[He heaved a sigh of relief, letting her hand go and resting his own palm against his forehead.]

Okay. Uh... [The most important part was taken care of...but how to approach this subject?] Well, what do you remember? I sort of...need to know if I'm going to fill you in.

_{[Sayaka stares at her own hands after they're released, a troubled eye on her ring while she tries to clearly remember.]}

[Suddenly, he sort of wishes he hadn't let go of her hand.]

[And then Jin stepped DRAMATICALLY OUT OF THE SHADOWS and by that he mean he walked over casually because he's not grimdark enough for that.]

[He turned his attention to Sayaka, removing one hand from his pocket and tossed a small, black bauble towards her.] Catch.

[Roxas kept his head down the second Jin intruded, stepping off to the side awkwardly. The other bluenette was probably better suited to explain the situation. He...still really didn't grasp what had happened.]

_{[She holds the grief seed in one hand, then turns up the palm of her other, ringed hand - and her soul gem appears there. It looks much better than any other time either of them had seen it.

_{[The dark glow hiding in the gem slides out of it in a cloud of abyssal black - and right into the Grief Seed.

The ritual seems to have been as easy as that.]}

[Roxas didn't seem to be expecting to see you know darkness pouring out of her crystal like that, and looked pretty unnerved when the soul gem was cleaned completely.]

[Not that Jin had ever seen this process before, but considering the stuff he's seen, it's definitely on the low key end of the spectrum.]

We fought a Witch the other day, in the music room.

Yeah, see? It's all shiny'n'new looking. ..Jeez, I don't think it's been like this since the day that I got it. It's kind of nostalgic.

[The chipper tone was not being appreciated by this kid, who was on edge himself due to EVERYTHING EVER happening this week. But, instead of flipping out, he just did something Sayaka would be no doubt familiar with.

He took a deep breath and bottled it.]

[There's a light wooshing sound that can be heard for all of a few seconds before Lina touches down and promptly barges toward this gathering with all of the social grace of the climax a Michael Bay film.]

FIRST OF ALL, NOBODY CUTS OFF LINA INVERSE IN A CONVERSATION AND GETS AWAY WITH IT! SECOND OF ALL, THAT WAS MORE THAN JUST "WEIRD"!

[Jin wasn't worried and bottling his emotions like Roxas; he was about to speak again before Lina marched over and started yelling. He stared at her, pushed his glasses up his nose, and then used his other hand to whap her on the back of the head.]

_{[She caught the flash of suppressed emotion, Roxas, and was about to express concern - BUT NOPE

SUDDENLY

A LINA INVERSE ALL UP IN HER FACE

What's a Sayaka to do in reaction to that besides shout back?]}

Hiding?! Hiding what, you lunatic! All I know about that stupid mermaid painting is some old man saying I should come back and look at it more! But I couldn't even find it again--

_{[And then Jin interjects with a bop to Lina's head, and she cuts off to strangle a snicker.]}

[See, things were serious and tense.

And then they weren't.

Rox is too emotionally burnt out for this, so he's just going to put his face in his hands and ignore this entire conversation for a second.]

She doesn't remember any of it...

[She was going to go on more, but Jin's smack to her head got her to pay attention to something other than the focus of her temper - and before it could re-focus on Jin, Roxas' comment sinks in real quick.

The flames of annoyance and anger got quashed real quick, and she takes a step back from Sayaka and swallows.]

You...don't remember the other day? In the music room?

[Good, the idiot simmered down. He crossed his arms and was apparently the only one that wasn't depressed now.]

Of course she doesn't. Technically she was already dead at that point.

[And he peered over his glasses because come on he has some exposition to do.] If you'll shut up long enough, I can clue her in and maybe we'll get some answers.
