[The feed turns on to show a young 'girl' blushing brightly. 'She' shyly averts her eyes and can't quite look at the camera at first then 'she' takes a deep breath and looks into the camera with renewed confidence. 'Her' filters should work after all. This programming prodigy has written the codes 'herself' after all and checked them numerous times. That doesn't stop 'her' from stammering though. This is so embarrassing! But it's been troubling 'her' for a while now and since 'she' has decided to be strong and not run away from anything anymore...]

A-ano... does... does anyone know how one can tell if... if a friendship is perhaps more than just a friendship? How do you tell if you perhaps like someone... more than a friend? How do you know if that person feels the same way or not? I...

[There's a pause... then a frantic...] T-Thank you very much for your kind attention!

How close are you, as friends? Even if they're disgusted by the idea, it shouldn't harm your friendship.

*Helpful smile. The "girl" on the other end looks like any friend "she" has interest in would be past that phase some children go through.* At your age, I don't think disgust will be a problem anymore. I haven't seen children cling to that idea for very long.

How close...? Well, we are classmates and... we've grown a lot closer here. They're always looking out for me and protecting me here...

Ah! We aren't children... we're both in high school and well, I didn't mean that type of disgust. I meant... we, you see, the person I like is of the same gender as me.

There is a possibly that they might...? Relationships like that aren't exactly widely accepted... in our world at least. And well... a classmate of ours from our world already reacted very badly at the mere mention of a relationship of this sort so...

I thought it might be because one or both of you wasn't married or had children yet, but...it doesn't sound as if that's the case.
