[Standing in front of the terminal, Waver looked like hell. More accurately, like he got the hell to a terminal within two minutes of sleep paralysis wearing off. His suit jacket forgotten, the usual sunglasses were hanging off a collared shirt as black as his disheveled, untied hair.]
[Let it never be said Waver Velvet was an unkempt mess; there were just much more important things to consider right now than his personal appearance.]
I have a question. Technically several, though all geared toward the same subject.
Has there yet been any evidence of limits to this place's resurrection capabilities? An upper limit on times one can return, for example?
And what of side effects: has there ever been any indication of lingering illness or other such afflictions?
You'll have to excuse me if these are stupid questions. I hadn't had time or reason to consider the implications of this until now.

[She'd died enough times in other worlds that death had lost a certain amount of its ... sting.]

Twice, and no it isn't really prying that much, though I expect most would look at it as rather invasive.
no subject
I'll apologize for being invasive, then. I'm just looking for answers in a matter I should have questioned when I first arrived.

Action
He's not wrong and soon Diarmuid is standing behind Waver, his arms wrapped around the other man, his head buried against Waver's shoulder.
Barely audible between the sobs are a few repeated words.]
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry...
no subject
[He immediately tensed up as though expecting an attack; this might have been the one time he was too distracted to properly sense Lancer's presence beforehand.]
Diarmuid-...come on, quit it. [The disheveled teacher looked over his shoulder, not really able to do much else with the Servant's grip on him.] I'm fine. Honestly.
no subject
He...killed you because of me. It's my fault. I...I got you killed! If I had just checked on the sounds. If I hadn't been a COWARD and hid in my room. I'm sorry...
I'm so sorry...
no subject
[Waver's voice was firm as he managed to pull away, only to turn around and put his own arms around the knight's shoulders.]
Listen to me, and listen very carefully. What happened was my own fault. I was worried about you, and I overreacted. I picked a fight I shouldn't have with the wrong person.
It's not your fault. Not yours, Lancelot's, or Kariya's. Do you understand what I'm saying to you?

I've died before, and there weren't any side effects. At first I couldn't move, but that was all. I was returned to life in the same state. [Worms and all.]
I know many other people have died more times than I have.
no subject
I did notice the paralysis, but other than that nothing. I was only wondering if there was some limit to an impossibility like this.

They extract our soul and put it into a new body. It doesn't seem like there's any limit on how many times they can do it.
Sometimes people disappear, but I think that's different. I don't know where they go.
no subject
At any rate, you'd think they might make mistakes in the transferring process. Or perhaps they've done it so much that it's practically foolproof.
