[Switch off the labyrinth and check the network proper on any one of the terminals, and you shall be greeted by the stern, stoic face of one Princess of Hyrule. She looks somewhat tired, like she hasn't had a good night's sleep, but even so, there is a tranquil sort of absolute fury in her eyes.]

Is it possible to access the locked elevator without the clear- or red-collared workers' "assistance"?

Knowing the way they do things around here, probably not. Like most everything, I'd bet on it being reinforced to hell and back.

[Taiki is looking very scared and very sad]/small>Yes...

We did once... I had a bracelet... not a collar... and we went down and... we all died, they made my friend kill me... I have a normal collar now though... so I don't think it will work again...

That is true. But every barrier of that kind has a weak point, or a key of some sort, or else even those who created it would not be able to pass through it.

[Yeah, the reasoning is rather obvious. Still, her stoic demeanor gives way a bit to show pain at the edges.]

[Here's Reno, but he looks pretty tired, too. There's slight circles around his eyes.]

Yeah, it's possible. I've got access, but there's no point. It only lets me get up to the roof.

Then finding our way to the labyrinth may just be possible...

[Fado had been sitting beside Zelda, out of view of the camera and sitting in a chair from the terminal nearby. He hadn't gotten much sleep either-- not only worrying about the well-being of the inhabitants, but keeping the Princess from sinking into despair or flipping into a rage.

His usual smile was replaced with a bit of a frown as he watched her contact the network, and he idly fidgeted with the bow of his violin for a moment before breaking the silence on his end.]

...I do not mean to doubt your judgment-- and by far you have had more experience here than I-- but are you certain of what you intend to do?

[She blinks, surprised.]

You do? To the one people were taken to for this "experiment"?

Yeah, it's the same one I take up to the roof for that dumbass job they've got me doing.

[Said quietly, as if admitting a secret.]

But if there is a chance I may be able to help those trapped in this awful "game," then I am willing to take that risk.

[Fortunately (?), her planning has kept her focused - almost religiously so. The previous day had been spent in a horrified panic, but now she has something to devote her energy to. She has hope, however small and unlikely, and she is grabbing onto that hope with all her might.

She does not look at him when she speaks, instead continuing to stare at her terminal intently.]

There are children in that place, Fado. I cannot sit idly by and just... watch as they are forced to fight one another. The Tower is trying to turn us against each other and--

[Hoo, getting a bit emotional there. She stops, takes a deep breath, and forces her stoic mask back on.]

If there is a chance I can do something about it, I have to try.

They may react and try to stop us if you are successful.

[ He knows he probably won't be able to convince her otherwise, that's obvious. And that's admirable that she risks her own life for her friends. But he still needs to warn her. ]

You are faced with a potential for great danger, Princess. Maybe even greater than what those in the Labyrinth have to face.

[Her brow furrows as she considers this information.]</small. ... Perhaps it is because of your job that it only goes to the roof for you. I have been a part the Tower's "games" in the past, and I know it must go somewhere else.

[Seems someone is pacing around behind Shou while reading, and thought to lean over him and give his piece.]

Even if we are unsuccessful, it would give us an opportunity to understand the layout of this place. We may be able to learn more about it's layout...

[And then he's back to his book.]

But I have spent far too much of my life simply waiting as people around me suffer. I am willing to take the risk, if it means potentially saving those trapped inside.

What they're doing is without a doubt immoral-- [And he certainly didn't like watching it any more than she did!] But I am simply concerned for yours and the safety of others. Given the... questionable designs of those in charge, an all out attack like this may simply prove to upset them further.

Are you going to go try to find them?

[Her voice is quiet, hesitant. This is so very familiar, familiar to how she felt last time. And given how last time went... At the same time, last time was during the night, and besides, she has friends down there still.]

I know... sorry... please be careful... [He would offer to go with her, but he knows there is little he can do alone, and there will be blood. It would be different if he had Sanshi or Gohran but he has been only able to summon them sporadically.

After last time that his powers were messed with Taiki didn't want to risk going near anybody, never mind trying to rescue people, he didn't want to hurt anyone again.]

Your determination cannot be shaken. Very well then.

[ He sighs. ]

I shall assist you. But you will need a consequent number of people helping you and a carefully laid out plan if you want to have a chance to be successful.
