[She has no way to know if it's real or not. She knows this, but at the same time her presence here would suddenly make sense. Saber is a Servant, a type of familiar of someone who should, for all intents and purposes, be long dead by the time this occurred.

No magus or group of magi could accomplish something like this. She doubts even the Holy Grail itself would be able to do something so instantaneous, so utterly thorough as to wipe out even the smallest blade of grass. There's a distinct feeling that, if she could see it, even the bacteria would be nothing but dust.]

And this is on every world?

And you have no knowledge of what causes this? How was this discovered to be happening in the first place? Was there no warning sign of any kind?

There was an attack on this world. We're uncertain as to how we survived it, but we have been able to track its progress since then.

So outside this Tower is nothing but a wasteland as well?

I'm not certain. I imagine not, if we survived.

....how long has this Tower been in service, then? That is, how long have you been gathering survivors?

We will have been gathering survivors for one year next month.

Yes; we were not able to gather survivors earlier than that.

And yet you say you have never left the Tower? Why is that?
