Certainly.

I used to do work with an element that tends to be very unstable at times. Before coming here, I had traveled through time on more than one occasion because of a device I'd created using that element. This element was also able to re-animate the dead and turn animals into monstrous creatures, to give you an idea of its versatility.

Ergo, I don't think it would be that much of a stretch to believe that my last attempt at teleportation ended up causing the destruction of my entire world. I had been about to teleport when I woke up here, so the thought has crossed my mind on more than one occasion that it might have been some side-effect of using the element too frequently.

But I suppose that's not the case. Joy!

Interesting. I thought much the same when I arrived, due to certain aspects of my own work.

I'd like to learn more about this element and your projects, if you are willing to discuss the matter further.

I wouldn't be opposed to the idea. However, I would prefer if we kept it between the two of us. This network is far too public for my liking.

I've actually found a bit of the element in the tower's laboratory, if you'd like to join me there.
