Hey.  Probably heard there's a gym here now.  Don't think anybody should go there.  Went and checked it out, weights've got no numbers on them, most're way heavier than they should be.  Machines aren't safe.  Track's probably okay.  Even if you got a spotter, wouldn't be using the weights.  People get killed using weights that're too heavy all the time, these ones're even worse since you can't tell the weight.  Might even change while you're holding it or something, knowing this place.

[At first it's Tatsumi simply looking at the screen, as if he's not sure it's working.  Once he's checked the terminal again, he'll clear his throat and adjust his glasses, very calm.]

Good evening . . . I'm Tatsumi Seiichirou, but Tatsumi is fine.

[The expression on his face is a little hard, even wry.]

I'm afraid I don't really believe that the worlds I call home were destroyed; after all, I would know.

[He's not going to buy that letter for a moment.  The next few things are polite, but also take on a slight lecturing quality.]

Still, it's best to find out what purpose an unusual world like this one serves.  I've taken the liberty of walking through a few floors in the last few days; I'm sure I hardly need to mention how unusual they are.

There are many of you who are hardly new at this; if you don't mind, could you share what you've learned with me?  In person; I will take time on the 3rd floor library today.

[Oh, right.]

In the cooking section.

[He'll be there all day.]

[ Amalia stands in front of the video screen with her hands clasped in front of her. ]

Um, hello. This message is for the people in charge of the Tower.

I wanted to thank you for fixing all the floors back to the way they were and for even giving us new ones, and for returning our trunks. I know the things inside of them mean a lot to the people here.

I didn't know if anyone had taken the time to let you know that what you did was appreciated.

[ a brief pause ]

So, thank you.
