It was time to put all plans, theories and information into motion, time to start moving. Residents looking through the terminals, or perhaps just passing by will notice a strange broadcast playing. To most it probably sounds like nothing more than garbled words and noise. Even fewer would likely even know what the line itself is from. But to those who pay attention, to those who are curious enough, to those with the right mind set; they may find something...off.

Something possibly disturbing about the broadcast. With the way it seems to repeat itself in a very timed and obviously controlled matter. Once every three hours, the broadcast plays, then mysteriously vanishes. Any attempt to trace its origins will be fruitless.

{OOC: Alright so like I stated earlier, this is happening. Note that you're characters are free to reply and interact with each other however they want in this post. Just note that Mitch here will not respond back.

This will be his attempt at drawing attention towards the broadcasts. The next one should be posted on Wednesday, along with the code and answer to the first. Anyway have fun.}

[Feel lucky that he's making a public and not anonymous post of any sort. He just wants the person responsible for the shadows and things coming with them to know he's on to their little game.]

It appears as though we have some rather skilled pranksters in this Tower. I commend your efforts, but don't you find it a bit foolish? Perhaps the culprit or culprits need to use more discrimination in selecting their victims.

Or are such things merely common practice here?

Asagi [あさぎ]
... is this supposed to scare me or something?

[Asagi is flicking the slightly bloodied tip of a blade back and forth between her fingers, expression unimpressed.]

Med-drones say it's my blood, but I don't get it- what's the point of sending this to me? Not like I care about a little hemoglobin splattering here and there.

[She settles her chin in her free hand, stopping the blade tip between her index and middle fingers.]

I'm almost disappointed.

[A shrug.]

What'd the rest of you get?

[The person seated in front of the terminal is probably a new face to everyone in the tower. She looks quietly at the screen, managing to somehow appear both calm and furious. Three shadows of varying size stand quietly behind her.]

I'm sort of new to this type of thing, so I'll just cut to the point.

Is there possibly a seamstress in the tower? Or anywhere I could repair clothing? I... I would be extremely grateful.

And to whoever did this; I don't know how you managed this sick joke, but you will be found.

[But it's not their fault, Veronica. It's all your fault.]

Shut up, you're not Fran.

[Are you sure about that?]

[She give one last glare before the video ends.]

[Chidori's expression is darker than usual, fingers toying idly with the broken headphones clipped loosely to one side of her dress.]

I do hope when the time comes that whichever of you sent me this will understand that at this point, it's quite difficult not to make the things that will happen to you as heinous as is within our collective ability. After all, you seem quite intent on making it personal with every person in the tower.

[It isn't an actual post to the network, but after the morning of the twelfth, a letter is placed in the mailbox of every single resident of the Tower. On the thirteenth, the process is repeated. The handwriting looks as if it would normally be neat, but the letters were obviously rushed. There is no name signed.]

It is to my understanding that a few weeks ago, there was an attempt to infiltrate the administrative levels of the tower. I cannot speak of who was involved or whether the mission succeeded, as I am unaware of both of these things and am unwilling to further incriminate the people in question.

I merely come bearing advice that may be relevant to aforementioned people, as well as to others who are more interested in answers than their own personal safety.

We are all now aware of the "glamour system", and of its tendency to flicker off at random intervals. I suggest watching the walls of your dormitory. When the glamour goes off, an elevator should briefly become visible in the room. I cannot be certain if every room contains one of these elevators, but I have seen two of them, so I have reason to believe that they are consistent in their placement.

I was informed by a friend that they once saw one of the red-collared workers coming out of the elevator into the dormitory. What I am saying with this is that the main elevator cannot be the only access point into the administrative levels. I don't know how one would go about getting at the dormitory elevators when the glamour is active, but I want to find out.

And I hope that I am not the only one.

It is crucial that you do not speak of these elevators on the network, which is why I have elected to send letters rather than use a terminal. Do not discuss the elevators, this letter, or infiltration plans on the network. Communicate through the mailboxes or face-to-face interaction, and in the case of the latter, stay away from the walls. To my understanding, they're watching.

Please do use this information wisely. It wouldn't do to have such a convenient path closed to us because of one fool.

[As this is not an actual network post and the letters themselves are anonymous, please do not comment to this entry, as England will not be answering!]

[Neal looks like he has been crying. His eyes are bloodshot, and his hair is a mess. He looks terrified, but also angry.]

Whoever sent this to me...

Do you think... do you think something like this is funny? That you'll somehow get me to stop fighting?

This isn't real. This isn't really hers! It's a fake! A copy!

I'll find her. I'll go back to her! And you can't stop me!

Nue "I have only one friend" Houjuu
12 August 2013 @ 07:56 pm
[There isn't a person seated in front of the terminal. Instead, there's a pair of shadow children, grinning in their typical eerie way. What makes it worse is the way the video on screen doesn't seem to want to display properly, meaning they appear twisted and strange. Nue's voice sounds from somewhere above the camera's range, though, so she must have been the one who turned it on... Her words might not be entirely clear to a listener, and especially with how she isn't facing the terminal directly, but Nue doesn't know how these things work, so.]

I've seen these things before. [Specifically, she saw them when she...woke up in the lower levels, she supposes would be the way to say it. She has been writing off the sense of familiarity as being thanks to that—maybe they're the same ones that tried to carry her off?] Am I the only one?

[Colette does not get angry very often. However, even a person as sweet and gentle as her can have her buttons pressed. And Jason has managed it. The hand with the Exphere that she found in her mailbox....it could be a fake. Still, the fact that it's there has made her deadly afraid - afraid that something terrible has happened to one of her closest friends and that she was unable to stop it.]

Jason, how could you....what did you.......if that....what you gave me really belongs to Lloyd, then what have you done to him?! And why?!

Th-that thing on his hand....that's his Exsphere! It's dangerous to remove an Exsphere from someone who already has one! Who knows what could happen to him without it!

[She stops for a second, taking deep breaths to stop her voice from trembling. It's not working.]

P-please....just give it back to him. And whatever you're doing to him, just stop....
