Content Warning: Thread with Tavros got smutty I really can't believe I'm putting this right in the OP but the general public has a right to be warned.

[The feed clicks on, revealing an extremely wide, extremely frantic purple eye.]

[After a few seconds, the features surrounding said eye come into view, as the operator of the video backs up. And backs up a little more.]

[It's a gargantuan troll. Everything about him looks like it's been blown well out of reasonable proportion. His shoulders took up the width of the screen, and the way he hunched over couldn't have been anything but uncomfortable. His face was painted up like a monotone clown - all dark smudges against stark white. The design hadn't changed much in the sweeps he'd spent here. What was your face was your face, no matter how you felt about it. The paint was what he was born with, the design was a part of him - one thing in life that couldn't be done on a whim.]

[Most of that face, however, was obscured by the most absurd mane of hair imaginable. It exploded from his head in a mass of mats and twists and curls, getting in his eyes and mouth before running down his neck and past his shoulders. It was reminiscent of vines taking over a building - crawling up and threatening to engulf the two massive, spiraling horns that sprouted from his head.]

[For being as giant as he was, Gamzee had been lacking in the brute strength department - a solitary physical trait he failed to inherit from his ancestor. His limbs and neck were thick, but not as thick as they could or should be. His hands rivaled the size of dinner plates, but the fingers on them remained knuckles and spindle.]

[Now that both manic eyes were visible, as well as a decent amount of the rest of him, Gamzee's dark lips parted to speak, revealing terribly sharp and terribly disgusting fangs. Plucking a vial of dark purple liquid from his pants pocket, he held it up to the camera.]

All you magnanimous motherfuckers, please to be all popping the most righteous of motherfuckin' squats at the terminal and start bestowing on to your wicked brother all what's knowledge holy you up and got in those inferior thinkpans 'bout the matter what all is at being your mother fucking blood.

So I'll make this short and sweet.

Is there anyone else here - anyone - who didn't just arrive and knows they've been here for less than a decade? I mean I'm not the only person in this heap that's still sane, right?

I know this is opening myself up to a bunch of jokers who are going to tell me how long they've been here. But not all of you have to have been tricked by this crap, right?

[Because he's scared. That maybe it isn't a trick, or the trick is on him.

Just. Someone. Give him validation of this. Please.]

[When the feed first turns on, deep breathing can be heard, as if someone is trying to calm down. After a minute or so, the breathing stops and is followed by a pause. Shortly after, a voice belonging to what seems to be a young girl speaks up.]

H-Hello, everyone. I, um... My name is Wendy, and I'm new here. This is the best way to learn more about this place, right? I-If so, would anyone mind assisting me with some questions I have?

[She takes a deep breath.]

So, ah... Other than what the letter explained, is there anything important I should know about this place? Like... What dangers there are, or where other points of interest might be, for example.

[Another deep breath.]

I'd... I'd also like to know how people arrive here, and if it's possible if people from the same world arrive later than others. And finally... [A pause.] Are we stuck here forever?

[She takes one final deep breath.]

E-Even a little information would be helpful. Thank you for listening!

[It has been quite a while since he had come onto the network like this. It seemed that the days had come together into one brief moment. He knew that something was off deep within his gut but he chose to ignore it. He moves to click on the network feed and clears his throat before he begins to speak. His eyes are sunken and it appears as if sleep had been a last thought to him.]

I believe today marks the day of my 100th year here...no wait perhaps it is in nineties. It is hard to make sense of what is truth. I feel...the same as I had when I arrived. Here I thought age was supposed to change a person. While this holds some truth to it I am not sure if this tower has provided anything of value. Though it is only be expected when you consider just what is associated with this tower. I must say it is fortunate that I am not in the ground. That my age has not caught up with me. This I can conclude is probably due to the tower or simply that death will be soon upon me and my hopes, whats left of them, still remain.

I do not fear it. Death has been a constant visitor during my time here. Maybe it is best that it will come for me. I have not accomplished much during my stay here and given my future was only death, if I had returned home, perhaps it is to be. Considering such a situation, I feel as if hope is lost...my time has been useless within this tower. I could not come to protect those around me, or provide new hope for my friends and those who wished to follow my word. If it is to be and death is to be a visitor tonight, then I wish you well. If not I will continue to do what I can to assist you, even if you intend to detour it. I suppose it might be a miracle to some that a mutant has lived this long...heh what a load of hoofbeast shit. I was destined to die, never meant to be. I have always known this and chose to ignore it.

Nothing but words pour from my mouth and yet no one listens. It all ended in failure, here and back on Alternia. I.... I'm not sure what to do anymore.

[Any expression he had drops and slowly he turns his head away from the camera. Brows lowered and his frown was trapped in permanent doubt. ]

I am sorry for all of you.... Thank you for listening.

[With that he clicks off the feed for now, wishing to stare at the absence in the screen. Becoming lost within it.]

[Sephiran appears on the screen, a serene smile on his face. Seems someone got used to the tower after so much time had "passed"...]

Greetings, everyone. If we have not met, my name is Sephiran. If you are new, welcome to the tower. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me and I will answer.

I come with an important announcement: today marks my 200th year in the tower. My 200th year of punishment from Ashera. [Yes, he's still convinced that his goddess sent him here.] These centuries have been trying, to say the least. I have endured countless experiments and traumas, and even a few deaths. Well, more than a few, really, but after a while, you lose count...

Nonetheless, I would like to say something. I have met many people over the course of my time here, all very intriguing people. To all of you people here... thank you. You have made my stay here almost enlightening. The people here are most certainly the best part of this place, and it makes me wonder if this is not just a punishment, but a lesson for me...

As for the new people here, I say this: talk to those around you. Learn their stories. They will most likely become your support as you stay in the tower.

Thank you for listening.

[Here the feed ends.]
